Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

Find all 7, fairy houses. Go on a treasure hunt. Poke about our paths or explore the Airline trail, just off the property. S’mores, campfires, ghost stories and more. Meet our chickens. We are happy to still offer some dates for September. Come enjoy the solitude of the beach as the tide ebbs & flows. Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. Enjoy strolls on the beach located just out the back door or a sunset meal on the back porch. This wonderful cottage offers everything you will need during your stay. Including, comfortable beds, beach strolls and a bright upgraded kitchen with many amenities. The 3 bedrooms will fit up to 8 people comfortably.

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

The area is a prime location, as it offers some of the most stunning and scenic hikes & drives in the country. Only a 10 minute drive from Kent, New Milford or Pawling.

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two two-person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1.
