Yurt holiday rentals in Connecticut River

My daughter and I loved Bonna’s place ! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were completely surrounded by nature. The location was perfect, my daughter was riding at the Huntington Horse Farm, it was a quick drive from the yurt. Bonna was very quick to answer all of my questions. and was super flexible with check in and departure. We were lucky to meet her on our last night, it was wonderful to talk about how her space came to be what it is today. The yurt was a perfect little get away for us. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. I loved exploring this part of Vermont, Bonna’s property is a magical place.

The Yurt we stayed in was absolutely incredible! It had such a cozy vibe to it and enhanced the feel of the nature surrounding it. The grounds that the Yurt is in was also gorgeous and filled with many activities and things to see. Another note is how committed everyone involved with the grounds is to keeping it extremely environmentally friendly. The whole experience was definitely worth it and better than imagined!

We had the best weekend here! Paul was so responsive and helpful. We enjoyed having the option to go down to his brewery and hear the live music or just hang out at the yurt / by the campfire! It was a quick drive to Kennebunkport too. We would love to come back, it was awesome!

We had a great time at the yurt. Would definitely stay again. The view is gorgeous and the yurt is so cozy.

We had an absolutely magical time at the yurt. It was cozy and homey, very quiet and secluded. We used both the composting toilet and the outdoor shower and enjoyed using both. Neither my husband or I are super outdoorsy, so it was really nice to spend time outside in the woods and then be able to retreat into the yurt — the perfect speed of glamping for us. I sort of selfishly don't want to write this because I feel I found a secret gem in this place but they deserve your business so: FABULOUS in every way! Sheila and her crew are pro-level. I felt totally comfortable from the moment I booked until the moment I left. It is a magical space and they are lovely, lovely people. They were available, helpful and friendly but also gave us our space. It was a COLD, rainy May weekend but so unbelievable cozy and we still effortlessly had the best time. I am having trouble imagining a season that would not be perfect here. Would go back, 100%.

What a beautiful setting this family has created! The yurts were exactly what we wanted and Page and Bob were enjoyable, kind, interesting hosts. We'll definitely return!

The yurt was so nice! Exactly what is pictured. We stayed the weekend for our anniversary and had a great time! We loved meeting and feeding the goats!! You don’t have to bring anything the yurt has it all!! Thank you for a great weekend!

Overall, a great place to stay if you want a “camping” experience without the tent. Beautiful location, a short drive to a lot of the high peaks, and the place had all the basics you need. Our actual trip was unfortunately not perfect due to the weather, and Gregory offered us a free night because of it, which we appreciated. I’d definitely come back again. The only piece of information, if you aren’t a fan of bugs, pick a hotel, the place was as clean as you could make it, but some ants will get in, and it was a bit cobwebby. None of it bothered me and my stay but just know that it is still the outdoors and that’ll happen.

Great secluded spot! Fall asleep to the sound of frogs in the pond. We had a family of Ravens flying over being very vocal and tons of butterflies. Yurt and Bathhouse were great. Bed could have been a little softer but its better than the ground or a sleeping bag. Was awesome having electricity, fridge, and other amenities. I would recommend bug spray in June. We would totally come back!

A great stay with our two kids. It is way bigger than you’d imagine and even on a rainy day we had a good time. Super responsive host and well appointed with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!

“Enchanting” is a perfect description for this property. The entire weekend felt like a haven and Yuri was outstanding being responsive and helpful! I’ve never thought of returning to an Airbnb but I would rent again, for sure! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful home!

If you’re looking for a weekend getaway in Vermont look no further! I was genuinely impressed with Craig and the Yurt. Everything was well constructed. The instructions were very clear! He really makes you feel welcomed and invited into the yurt. Craig was super responsive and helpful. I’ve been to a few Airbnb’s before but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had! Nothing beats it. Super cozy fun little place to take off to. Bathroom was clean, shower was perfect, Craig’s guide is fantastically detailed, and provides all the best amenities to enjoy the weekend! I’ve never been happier with an Airbnb before.

we loved out stay here we will defined be back in the summer time when it's warmer, the fireplace wasn't as hard as the reviews may make it seem and it kept us so warm. The bathroom was super clean and no spiders or bugs which was one of the most important things for me since i hate bugs lol !

With our busy schedules we felt a breath of relief right when we arrived. The area was so quiet and scenic. Great place to have your dog hang out and enjoy. When we got to meet the owner, he was super chill and easy to talk to. Definitely recommend for a relaxing breath of fresh air.

My partner and I booked this stay for our one year wedding anniversary. The site had lots of other cute airbnbs but still felt private and peaceful. The goats and chickens were so adorable! The highlight for us was the outdoor tub, it was very clean and a fun experience. We would definitely rebook with this host and were even talking about next time trying one of his other airbnbs on the property! Thanks Jon for a great stay and allowing us to have an unforgettable weekend trip 😊

We’ve stayed a few times now and it really just astounds me how fresh and new feeling they’re able to keep the interior of the yurt- its pretty astounding!

Rachel’s yurt on Star Lake was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We fell asleep to the calls of loons and the chorus of peeper frogs, and woke up to the stillness of the lake just outside our door. The yurt is cozy and well-kept, perfect for unplugging and soaking in the serenity. A truly relaxing getaway.

Jaime’s place was peaceful and private. Nice fire pit and plenty of wood with a relaxing hammock near by. Immediately felt calm and peace. Loved the outdoor shower! Cozy inside with everything you need.

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The place was incredibly cozy and comfortable—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. It had this peaceful vibe that made it easy to just slow down and breathe for a while. Whether it was the quiet of the woods, the gentle sounds of nature, or just the way the space was laid out, it all added up to a really relaxing, almost transcendent experience. You can tell care went into making this place a true getaway. If you’re looking to unplug, reset, or just find a little peace, this yurt delivers. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Where do I start!? We traveled to Maine with zero plans and quickly decided to make our long weekend a road trip. We booked this location the day of and the host immediately started helping us make plans for a ferry. We are NOT camping people but this was an amazing experience! The host picked us up from the ferry and took us right up to the door of the yurt. It was a chilly evening and she made sure to turn on the electric blanket and made sure we had enough fuel for the heater. The next morning she let us borrow two bikes and we rode to the general store for breakfast (very tasty and nice dogs, staff were wonderful as well!) and then to the beach. All the locals we met were very friendly! When it was time to leave the host was gracious enough to give us a tour of the island. We very much enjoyed staying here and will recommend it to everyone! Thank you SO much! This will go down as one of our favorite Airbnbs.
