Cottage is 100 yards from mile-long sandy beach and Minaun Cliffs - among highest in Europe. The Toolis family have lived here for over 400 years. The deserted Dookinella stone village still stands in the field nextdoor. Keel village is a 5-minute drive with restaurants, local butcher selling Achill lamb and fisherman selling from boat. Surf school for all ages. Fabulous walks begin right at the door from easy to mountain hikes. Good for couples and families. Good WiFi. Wheelchair accessible.

This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.
