Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Ardcarne Lodge, Lough Key

The Hen House Cottage

Hen House Cottage is a beautifully restored small barn in a picturesque rural setting 2 km from Dromore West, 10 minutes from the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Suitable for a couple or single occupancy, this charming, well-equipped cottage has a dutch-style box bed, shower and a small kitchen. It is totally self-contained - perfect for safe self-isolation in this unspoilt corner of the west of Ireland. The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. It now sits along side The Old Cowshed which has been converted to living accommodation. Both are set on a 20 acre traditional farm overlooking the Burren National Park. The property is 5 min by car from the Village of Corofin and 14 minutes from Ennis the county town of County Clare. The Wild Atlantic Way and Cliffs of Moher are within 20 minutes of the property.

This countryside accommodation is 5 minutes drive from Fethard Town where the chippers and Chinese do deliver to the property. 25/30 minutes drive to larger towns Clonmel, Cahir and Cashel . 45 minutes drive to Kilkenny and Waterford cities .
