We stayed at Teagan’s place as a stop over to QLD & we’re so glad we found it! The house was spotless on arrival, well equipped and had a really welcoming feel about it. We had our 2 miniature labradoodles with us who thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in backyard & looking out to the river. Thank you for having us in your beautiful home Teagan!

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Myself and partner, had a beautiful stay overnight, on our road trip,amazing location , beautiful accommodation, and fabulous hosts , Dave greeted us and was extremely hospitable and informative. Loved the unique accommodation and being able to have the fire pit going in the eavning star gazing , the accommodation was fabulous . Couldn’t have asked for more . Will definitely be back , but next time for longer to enjoy the local area . Thank u so much

This air bnb was perfect for me and my cavoodle, very clean, beach style, beautiful gardens surrounded the accommodation, very comfortable bed with lovely bedding, great kitchen with full amenities, lovely vegetable garden with herbs also. 5 minute walk to Valla Beach which is stunning. Only a 12 minute drive north of Nambucca Heads, highly recommend this air bnb. Lisa of Sydney.
