We had a great time at Françoise's place. She was a welcoming and always smiling host, which greatly contributed to making our stay enjoyable. The accommodation was impeccably clean, very well maintained, and perfectly suited to accommodate our whole family (we were with our two children and my in-laws). The environment is peaceful, ideal for resting and enjoying the calm. A big thank you to Françoise for her hospitality!

Wow! The chateau, the grounds and the surrounding countryside were simply spectacular. We visited as a group of 12 for a birthday bash with a masked ball and La Jonchère was simply perfect - the salons packed with period furniture, the kitchens and hall ideal for prolonged wine-fuelled soirées, the gardens and pool superb for lazy BBQ-filled days - all set in a gently faded second empire grandeur. The photos really can’t do it justice. Richard and Marlene were wonderful hosts, nearby on site, our only regret is we didn’t get a chance to try out their new cafe! Practicalities wise, although rural and very secluded, it is only a 15-30mins drive to a number of large hypermarchés with a large fully stocked kitchen to feed a group of dozens. The fire pit is a lovely touch. Magnifique!

a great stay of 2 nights, Small cottage very well equipped, a peaceful and very quiet place I was greeted by their son and I then saw the owners both were very cordial and very friendly! a perfect cottage to be quiet near nature! pets accepted at no extra cost which is not common 😊 cleaning equipment in the cottage, which allows you to do a little cleaning before leaving 😊 the mini plus in my opinion would be a fenced area for the dogs but it's really not a defect far from it. otherwise thank you again for this weekend in your cottage and if the opportunity arises I will not hesitate to come back I recommend this cottage without a problem! very good value for money! very responsive and very friendly hosts! pure happiness
