Welcome to the Sandy River Chalet. Located within the Huron National Forest, this is a two-bedroom/one- bathroom cabin. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres, of which a third is wooded. This cabin is a comfortable camp for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. Canoe/Kayak rentals are available from several businesses in the area. Other outdoor activities include hiking, biking, ATV and boating/fishing at one of the local lakes or the Mio Pond. Please enjoy to the fullest but be respectful to the property.

Our camp features a completely renovated, glamped-up guest cabin situated on the AuSable with a bonus bunkhouse that feels more like a quiet nook.

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Come and enjoy the peace and beauty of Northern Michigan at Grandma's Getaway! We have lovingly restored the interior of this home and it reminds me of being at Grandma's house. We have preserved many of the original elements and created a welcoming space around them. Enjoy Mio Dam pond, the AuSable River and walking trails during the day. WIFI, Smart TV, DVD collection, and games are available in addition to a washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside you can enjoy the screened-in sitting area, fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Located 10.9 miles from Hale and 15 miles from Glennie. Self-check-in with the lockbox.

Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.
