Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Comal River

Loved the house !! Recommend staying here! Great view!! Seen some deer drinking coffee on deck.

We had an amazing stay, and we would definitely recommend this Airbnb! Hayley was super accommodating and attempted to resolve any issues we had. The house is a short distance from the downtown area and has a path down to the river. If you want to go in the river, be sure to have some water shoes as the rocks are very slippery entering in.

Natosha’s place was private, excellent, beautiful and very close to the river for floating. We had a family vacation with 8 adults and 8 kids everyone had comfortable beds with plenty of bathrooms. There were 2 bunk rooms along with a play and movie room they all enjoyed. The pool and patio were a life saver everyone enjoyed the evenings swimming and cooking out. Natosha was very responsive and helpful with all concerns. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay, plenty of great amenities. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the rain the first night we were there, and we loved all of the outdoor spaces! Beautiful property!

We recently stayed with another couple at Kelly's place while in town for a wedding. Her house is absolutely beautiful - from the design to the southwest/hill country decor to the fabulous views from the big windows. The natural lighting, the back porch and the comfortable couch and beds were our favorite things about the house, but there really isn't anything we disliked. It was perfect! A great spot to getaway from the busyness of life.

For a family trip with kiddos this place is absolutely amazing. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of room.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Lexi's home for a quiet birthday weekend get away. It was just perfect! Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could need. She even had extra toothbrushes for each restroom. Little personal touches like that are what really stand out. The hot tub was just amazing. The bed is comfy and the home was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We had a visit from a beautiful doe the morning of checkout. Couldn't have asked for a better way to end the trip. I'm already secretly looking for any excuse to come back to Lexi's for another getaway. 😀

This condo is centrally located making getting to downtown, Landa Park, the water park, and just about all N.B. offers very easy. You could walk to Wurstfest from this location. It is right on the Comal river so you can jump in the river anytime. The unit was very comfortable. You will hear the trains when they move through town since the tracks are right next to the complex so take note if you are a light sleeper.

I stay in airbnb's often and my stay here was fantastic. The view from the patio is so calming. I didnt get a chance to see the zebras or the kudos but the hummingbirds were delightful. Karen is a great host

Beautiful, quiet location within minutes of Wimberley. The apartment was comfortable and private. We appreciated Terry checking in on us shortly after we arrived and giving us local recommendations. A book with instructions and local information is also available.

We have stayed in dozens of home. This ranks up there in the top 5, but the host is #1. What set him above the rest? I asked for an early check in. He said he would need to get back to me as the previous guest will be checking out the morning we are arriving. He advised that he put a reminder in his phone. Friday morning arrived and I didn’t need to follow up with him, he followed up with me just as he said he would do. That kind of follow through is HUGE! I am very happy with Jay! The place was immaculate, penthouse decor. Picture perfect!

Second time staying at this AirBnb and I have to say my stay only got better the second time around. Luis Daniel G are a great host and definitely one of the best hosts on AirBnb at the moment.

This place was perfect! It slept 7 of us very comfortably and was perfect for our weekend trip. It’s in a perfect location in town. Very close to downtown but also not far off the interstate. It sits on the Guadalupe and is just a couple of minutes to the Comal. The complex was gated, so it felt very safe! We were extremely happy that we found this place! Kristen was very responsive and extremely easy to communicate with. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

Great updated home. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Appreciated all the recommendations for things to see/do - San Antonio is an amazing town with much to enjoy! This location is SO convenient; literally 8-12 minutes to most places. We stayed for a month & always something to do. Also has wonderful dog-friendly trails and parks close by. I decided to do a mini staycation. So I wanted a place with a pool and large yard so we could just hang out for a couple of days. Huasong’s place was perfect! Everything listed was accurate. Bonus, pool came with floats & floating volleyball net and basketball hoop already inflated! We used the fire pit to make s’mores! It was great having a bbq pit to use. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and mini golf. There is also workout equipment in garage. What it doesn’t have are tv’s in the bedrooms, but that might be a good thing!

Great hosts. Great place. Great location. There’s so much do to here and it’s so close to other popular surrounding areas. Didn’t wanna go home. Our family’s 3rd go around at this location with Leavetown as our host and they haven’t disappointed.

It would be difficult to find a place so close to one of the biggest cities in the country, yet at the same time feel like you have a view of nature as far as you can see. During our stay we saw deer, armadillos and foxes. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and split layout. Thank you!

What a perfect and lovely place right by the river and within walking distance of historic Gruene. We had a great visit!

We stayed here for an ATX bachelorette and loved it! About 20 minutes to downtown and easy to order Ubers to. We had 14 girls and the space was plenty big! Annette was super helpful with any questions we had and very quick to respond. Would so stay here again! ❤️

Very nice stay. Grandchildren loved the pool, cinema and pool table. Interesting design. Easy to get around. Tons of space, closets and shelves. Could use better and more kitchen utensils, pans etc, for large groups. Overall, we loved being there.
