Haras Quinta Conrado was dedicated for a long time to the breeding of “quarter mile” horses, obtaining the highest distinctions in the Rural del Prado for 10 years. It was the 1st Haras in Uruguay to set up a laboratory for transferring equine embryos and marketing them. It was a pioneer in spreading the reining discipline, organizing two Reining Clinics with Franco Bertolani, who is now triumphing in the USA, and made important genetic contributions in Uruguay with the incorporation of bloodstock.

El Nido -The Nest In The Vineyard

El Nido is a comfortable small house in the countryside of Colonia del Sacramento with 2 bedrooms (one double bed, one twin). There's a pool to enjoy the summer months. From here you'll discover the "other" Colonia, the one in the country, just ten minutes away from the old town by car. We are 10 kilometers away from Colonia, a 15 minute drive. Taxis to and from El Nido cost approximately 14 dollars and is the way most of our guests get to the houses. No kids allowed.

The Casa Rosada of the Historic District

The Casa Rosada de Colonia del Sacramento is located in the Historic Quarter, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. Opposite the ruins and archaeological remains of the former residence of the Portuguese governor during the colonial era and opposite the Basilica Church of the Blessed Sacrament. The house sleeps 6.
