Holiday rentals with a kayak in Colón Province

Jimmy personally greeted us with kindness and always provided us during the stay with his support in what we needed. She was very friendly and respectful. We had privacy and independence all the time. Highly recommended as a host.

The room is comfortable even if it is not big. The terrace is so nice and the view is amazing. We had a super end of journey here after a month of travel in Panama. Super relaxing place!

Lovely place! The decoration is very nice and simple, with congo art from the Portobelo Workshop. Comfortable beds, good ventilation, and a nice little balcony towards the street. The kitchen has the basics for cooking. Efrain is super friendly and responsive. The garden, which overlooks Portobelo Bay and at sunset, is very nice. 100% recommended, as well as a visit to the Portobelo Workshop (art) which is located on the ground floor premises.

This is our second time staying at this location and it’s one of my favorite places to visit in Panama. The shallow swimming areas are great for little kids, making it very family friendly! Lanchas (local boats) can access the houses easily for you to go explore the island and surrounding areas. Bring your snorkeling gear to see all of the beautiful fish! We also loved the multiple sitting areas and hammocks outside the house for everyone to hang and enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you’re lucky, the howler monkeys will show up in the trees behind the house for you to see. We can’t wait to go back!

The place where the accommodation is located is privileged, within a very small village. You have to stay in the house, which has its own beach because there is nothing to do or know about in the area. The owner also offers some boat rides to do with one of the caretakers. The house is very well equipped, you have to keep in mind that the space to eat, table and chairs is open and when it rains hard and with a breeze everything gets wet. Also consider that there is no WiFi (although we had a temporary solution that worked half way as Federico supports us with that order). Also only 1 of the 4 bathrooms has hot water, the 2nd did not work. But otherwise, everything is perfect, the aquatic implements are the maximum to enjoy the sea, it is a private pool, with exit to a river space between mangroves. Federico was pending and available long before check in. Very helpful and kind. Definitely nice space to share with several families

I cannot say enough nice things about this magnificent and serene retreat, its host and staff. It was the most peaceful place I have ever had the privilege of visiting. The family was able to engage in things they preferred to do right on the site. Thank you to Gina and staff Laura and Chente!

The house is spacious, super comfortable and very well distributed. The pool is cozy, ideal for relaxing, and the fact of being right in front of the beach is a real luxury. Also, on the beach there is a spectacular natural pool that made the experience even better. What really elevated our stay was the care of caretakers, Joel and Marielys. What a quality of people! Always attentive, friendly, with an excellent disposition. They kept everything clean, tidy and even helped in the kitchen. This service is additional, but it's definitely worth every penny. As for aspects to improve, the water pressure was quite low. It would be ideal to have reserve tanks and a pump to improve this issue. There were also several bays of light, although this is due to the electric infrastructure of the village, something that escapes the control of the hosts. Finally, additional fumigation would not be too much, although it was not a serious problem. Definitely would come back.
