Beachfront holiday rental in Colombo 03

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Esta. It was very spacious & the staff were wonderful, & very helpful. The chef was also very good & made some delicious Sri Lankan meals as well as some light meals when requested. We had a lovely dinner on the beach on our last night. The beach was very clean & my children enjoyed surfing lessons right in front of our villa. We enjoyed visiting some local tourist spots too. The whole experience was above expectations.

it's an excellent place...easy to find, clean and worth to stay

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

It was one of the most wonderful vacation trips. We had a vacation with my husband and two children aged 11 and 16. The owner of the Dharshana house is a magnificent man. He was always in touch and answered all questions. The house is located almost on the shore of the Indian Ocean in 1 min walk. All the amenities were available. All necessary household appliances are present in the house. Especially the washing machine helped us out, as children often dirty things and they could be quickly refreshed. Dharshana and his wife were very kind and welcoming. In addition, they organized a trip for my family to the elephant nursery and the nine-arch bridge, we visited the highest waterfall and got acquainted with monkeys. The children were delighted. Our family has become friends with Dharshana and his wife and we continue to communicate. We are glad that we have friends in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back to them again.

My husband and I stayed here for a whole month. First of all we want to say that we feel very grateful to the family because they were always willing to help us in any situation. For example one time we got sick during our trip and the family was always aware of our health and attended us in the best way. They also gave us recommendations on how to move around the area and places that could be interesting to visit. On the other hand we can say that the place is very nice, clean and comfortable. We like to have experiences close to local life and being there allowed us to enjoy quiet days away from the tourist hotspots but not so far as to be able to easily go to interesting places such as different beaches, jungles, temples, among others. The breakfasts were varied and all delicious. Also many nights we decided to pay extra for dinner which we must say was everytime delicious and budget friendly. We can highly recommend it staying here and hope to return soon. Cathy & Philipp

We had an amazing stay. The views surrounding the house and the interiors of the house were absolutely stunning. Every part of the house was so thoughtfully designed and decorated. The best part of the stay was the delicious vegetarian food which we throughly enjoyed. Sam, Sandun and team were extremely hospitable, warm and helpful. We look forward to staying at the BNB again very soon :)

The location was fantastic. The apartment was modern and spotless. The view of Colombo city was breathtaking. The apartment looked exactly as the pictures. The front desk staff could be trained better when checking in. There’s no Microwave, kettle, hairdryer nor clothing iron which would have made our stay much more convenient. There were no complimentary water bottles which was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a good stay.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

Great place to stay at. We felt at hime immediately and after a montj, we left the place and the ground floor staff with heavy heart. We had a bit of problems to start with, but it was all sorted out soon and it was so comfortable.

It is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is located 2 mins of walking distance from the beach. Has a nice view of the beach from the balconies. There were each balcony for bedrooms and for the living room. The roof top infinity pool is my favorite. Can see the sun set and sun rise from the pool. Since our stay was bit long 5 nights, the host provided extra drinking water and toilet paper. The host is very responsive. Had a good time with my family.

I stayed at Osh's place for about 10 days. The apartment is located in one of the best places in Mount Lavinia: a 5-minute walk away from the beach, close to the main road and some of the best restaurants I visited in the area (my personal recommendation: try the Fat Crab, which is just a 10-minute walk away). Coffee lovers will enjoy a Barista branch nearby. If you're looking for a supermarket, try Family Super or Cargills, both within walkable distance. The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings and all the necessities in place: shower with hot water, AC and fans, gas stove with pans and pots available, microwave oven, electric kettle, washing machine in the hall, etc. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. I really enjoyed my time here!

Amazing apartment. It truly made our stay special. The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and we loved waking up to it every day. The place is beautifully furnished, super clean, and thoughtfully maintained. It had everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to other modern amenities that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect too, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, and other essentials just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was very neat and clean. It had necessary cooking elements also. The most beautiful thing was the sea view just exactly as the picture which you can enjoy just by sitting on the bed. The area had also lots of local veg non veg restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at rika's place.

This Airbnb was lovely and very quiet. However, the only issue was co-ordinating to get the hot water switched on. But we'd definitely stay here again! The area is very peaceful and close to the ocean. Gajanan and his mother were very kind and helpful during our stay 😊🫶

The place was absolutely gorgeous, seriously breathtaking. The view from our room was incredible, we spent hours just looking out. Everything was so comfortable and relaxing, we really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect getaway, we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for some beautiful scenery and a peaceful escape.
