The house is in an incredible place, with spectacular views in a rural setting surrounded by nature. The house is very tastefully decorated. There were 8 adults, spectacular views, a child and two babies and we were very comfortable. If we think about going back to the area, we'll definitely repeat. PS: we highly recommend going to the restaurant "La inesperada", very cheap prices and high quality food.

The house is perfect for groups, very spacious and with everything you need to spend a few days. It is also close to many beautiful villages and routes. 100% recommended.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. A very nice house, close to the beach and a large garden with a barbecue of 10, as shown in the photos. Thank you to Ismael for her kindness and because at all times she was attentive to what was needed!!!

Great place and very accommodating

The house is great both for spending the weekend without leaving it and for taking walks in the area. Reinosa and supermarkets are very close by. Salomé could not have been more attentive to us, she helped us with everything and took care of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for everything.

The house was very well maintained, clean and tidy. The garden is very large and completely enclosed, ideal if you are traveling with a dog. The area is very quiet with good walks, without shops nearby. Entry and out times were very flexible. Johanna was always very attentive to our requests.

The place is located in a prime area as the surroundings are really beautiful, with a stunning view. The house is very nice and the garden and the barbecue area one pass, it is the definition of being surrounded by nature.

The accommodation was in a nice area, with a great view of Santander and the bay, and very quiet. The location is very good to visit Cantabria, we went with a dog and a baby and it was very comfortable to move and visit things. On the other hand, Dany and she is very friendly and pleasant and was always attentive to if we needed anything, being very fluid communication.

It was a great stay, the house with everything you need and super cozy. Very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular and focused environment to visit any point of Cantabria. Israel was very friendly, she gave us places to go and eat. I tip the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, luxury vacation!

The house was impeccable, with everything you need to feel comfortable. The environment is beautiful, there is a lot of peace and tranquility, and it has spectacular views. Laura, the hostess, was attentive to whether we needed anything, and left us some sobaos and quesada to welcome us. We went with family and friends to spend the weekend and we wanted to spend more days there. In short, we felt right at home.

A lovely home in the country but just a 10 min walk to the main street. It was so peaceful with the country noises in the background. Parking was in the yard and there were plenty of outdoor seating choices. Esmerelda and her Mum were very attentive at all times making sure we were happy. We visited Santander an easy day trip and stayed overnight to visit Bilbao. Absolutely loved our 10 night stay and highly recommend.

We went to disconnect from the city and rest as a family. We met Emilio and his wife there, who are always around and very kind and respectful to help you in any way they can. The house, which is really spacious and cozy, has 3 bedrooms: two double and one with two single beds. A bathroom and an American-style living room with kitchen. The arrival at the house is by a gravel road, but it is not difficult to travel it by car. There are cows, you're in the countryside, but there's no smell, no discomfort, on the contrary, it helps you to disconnect. You share a location with two other rented houses adjacent to this one, which are also Emilio's. The truth is that it was an inconvenience for us because we did not want to be sharing space; but the truth is that they were not noticed at all. Our dog was loose at all times. It's true that it's not fenced, but there's no danger around. Thank you so much so much for everything!🤗

This charming studio cabin is situated in the foothills of Cambria . Beaches are really close by 10 - 25 minutes , great to explore the coastline especially east of Santander . Nice restaurants by the coast but we found the best restaurant serving high quality Spanish food just down the road in Suesa called « bonabo » so friendly , but the homemade food was just so good. The cabin is basic but well situated. Shower and toilet very small. The garden surrounding is excellent for dogs, there are animals in the fields surrounding the cabin, our dog wasn’t worried about them and didn’t worry them. A lovely little place to go.

Julia was the perfect host. Very helpful. The house is beautiful in every aspect and immaculate. We liked that it is private but within easy walking distance to Selaya. Highly recommend both Julia and her house.

This house was absolutely breathtaking. Although it is not in a main city it is definitely close by and worth a stay. This place overlooks a beautiful vineyard and makes you feel like you're in a little oasis. The outdoor entertainment was amazing with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue that allows for wonderful nights enjoying your time. The views are incredible, the town is peaceful. Hosts were extremely kind, helpful and gave great recommendations.

We were 4 families (4 couples with 4 babies) and we were very comfortable!☺️ The accommodation is in a very quiet area It has two wonderful terraces and a large garden. The BBQ in good weather is a joy, as there are several tables with enough chairs to enjoy that moment all together! All the rooms are spacious and have enough space to move around without any problems, and the beds are very comfortable too! The layout and signage they have used within the accommodation is very comfortable and clear, which makes Jaime's directions easy and comfortable to understand☺️ Jaime quickly answered all the questions that we had. I definitely recommend the accommodation! Many thanks Jaime!

Our stay has been amazing. The place is great, in the middle of nature, an ideal and peaceful place to relax. A beautiful garden and a very chulo apartment. In addition, it is 10 minutes away from the beach. And what about Itziar, it's a charm, attentive to everything you ask for and even what you might need. Very comfortable rural house, with a large garden and barbecue, in a very quiet but not isolated area, safe and great also for going with pets. The host is very friendly and available, we'd be delighted to return in the future

Mari Carmen's house is in an enviable setting. Surrounded by nature and maximum tranquility, it allows you to completely disconnect from daily stress and enjoy its countless walking routes, as well as fantastic restaurants with local dishes at really interesting prices Marí Carmen was always very friendly and was waiting for us personally upon our arrival. She even gave us some cartons of milk that we had forgotten to bring. Being a small town, it does not have any shops where you can buy basic necessities such as milk, eggs, etc... and you need to drive 20 minutes to do so. However, there are several souvenir shops and typical products such as sobaos, chorizo, salchichón, ... You can easily park next to the house, as Mari Carmen provides you with a card that allows you to leave your vehicle in the historic center. If we return to Bárcena Mayor, we will definitely stay at Mari Carmen's house. Thank you very much and a hug
