Holiday rentals with beach access in Colchester

We had a short one night stay but everything was great. We had delay after delay at the airport and Joseph reassured us that it was okay to arrive at any time which was so appreciated because I was stressed over our late arrival. The apartment is very cute and nicely renovated. Bed was comfortable. It was a little humid and warm in the morning but I’m not sure if there is an a/c unit as we didn’t even look. I slept very comfortably as did my kid on the futon. Everything was clean and the decor was also unique and interesting. Highly recommend!

Cheri was an amazing host! She has created a spot that feels both like home and a luxury hotel accommodation. The rental is tucked away from the street, is quiet and private and feels relaxed despite being polished and pristine. Cheri was quick on communication on the Airbnb platform and also popped in to make recommendations and to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed shortly after check-in. The space was perfect for the 2 of us, and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with just the right amount - not too much, not too little. The lighting and fixtures in every room are thoughtfully chosen, and there are 2 heat pump/ AC units making the whole space comfortable. If you are going to Burlington, this is a perfect spot, a 10ish minute walk from church street marketplace. There are many restaurants and places to grab a cup of coffee or tea and a bite to close by. Also, a short walk from the water and a couple of parks. We're very happy with our stay!

Lucky us that Monica and Judd's place was available for our trip to Burlington! From the off-street parking to the welcoming living room, bedroom, patio, and full kitchen, we appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Walking distance to the beach, park, bike paths, grocery store, coffee shops, breweries, and more. Next door is a church that had Tai-chi and a thrift store. The bus stop is around the corner. I was working remotely and when the internet gave me some issues, Judd was extremely responsive and the extender + 5G wifi was enough for me to have great connectivity after the first day. They also let us stay an extra hour so I could finish my meetings for the day! Only "negatives" (which should not deter you, but for awareness) were lack of laundry options and the stairs. We were fine without laundry and could handle the narrow staircase, but if you are mobility challenged or can't lug a large suitcase up the stairs, be aware. Thanks again to Judd and Monica, we would return!

Max and Katie were perfect hosts. Very accommodating and flexible with arrival and check-out times. Their property was well maintained, easy to find, and as-advertised. It was a seamless experience overall!

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! We had an amazing stay at Bjorn's beautiful home where it was as picture-perfect as advertised! It is a gorgeous and modern home that was clean, well-stocked, and uniquely designed in such stunning surroundings (even in the rainy weather!). We cannot recommend Bjorn's home enough and are so appreciative of his accommodations in helping us celebrate our Middlebury grad!

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The house and views were so beautiful! Home was very clean and pretty much had every thing you need. She had toys and chairs for the beach for the kids which was awesome! Mary Anne was very accommodating when we told her that we had family coming through Vermont and let them stay with us for night! So great and grateful! Location is very peaceful and very well kept and would definitely come back and stay here! Thank you again for everything!

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and we loved being right by the lake as well as the sauna, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The house was cozy and the little kids toy closet was such a cute touch. We had an amazing time on our family vacation and would definitely recommend this rental. Ash was also so communicative and ready to help if we ever needed anything. So thankful!

Dana is a great host. Her place has all the amenities you could need and want. She is quick to respond when I communicate with her. This was our second visit and we will be back.

The view of the lake is so serene and having access to it on the property was quite the bonus feature. My family knew it was too cold to swim but we were looking forward to the calmness of it all. Dominique let us know that she'd be around the last night of our stay which was a nice heads up in case we heard any noises in the main house above. They were very quiet neighbors! We took a trip over to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park during the day to visit during their last open weekend of the year which was a nice way to see some art and the surrounding landscape. Maybe next time we'll get a bite to eat somewhere but we had everything we needed to prepare meals so we mostly stayed put this time around. We'd love to stay again next time we're looking for a VT getaway if they'd have us.

What an amazing spot! Fantastic view of the bay, 10-15 min drive to downtown, perfect location. Our unit was very clean, updated, had all listed amenities, and felt very comfortable. Easy to access, and had no issues communicating with our host. Burlington is a super cute town, with good food, cool art, great views of Lake Champlain, and beautiful Mountains nearby for winter sports. We got to visit Stowe Mt., took a ride on the Gondola Skyride, and go snowmobiling at Snowmobile Vermont! Less than an hour drive away from this Colchester unit. Highly recommend this place!

Brooke’s place was great! We had a great time. Easy to communicate, very fast response from her. The place was beautiful with nice mountain views. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay just north of Burlington! Colchester was beautiful and this condo is so close to the bike paths and causeway. Beautiful spot!

It is a nice get away spot. Thankful for the DVD’s and the coffee pot. We had a nice time walking around and we enjoyed sightseeing in Stowe.
