We stayed at this property for a month, as we usually travelled to DR every summer and by far this was one of the best places we’ve stayed at. The house was spotless, very well maintained, cleaned and very spacious. Maria was always available if we needed something. We felt at home in this property. Highly recommended, will definitely go back there!

This place was way more than what I wished It would be . It’s so raw , totally surrounded by nature , perfect for me because I needed a real get away from everything, the urban noises, somewhere I could feel like in my village back home in Africa. If you’re a sounds of nature lover , you’re gonna enjoy listening to trees rubbing on each other when it gets windy , and the birds singing. Your stay will feel a lot like a camping retreat . If you mind the insects, not having a tv , being far from stores and restaurants; you’re probably gonna run away .

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and had everything you needed to feel at home, including the basics for cooking in the kitchen until you figured out what else you might need. I loved that they provided pool towels—that’s a plus! The property is in a gated community, which felt safe and secure. There was also security on the main roads, which added to the overall sense of safety. The community the home is in has restaurants and beach access, which made it the perfect location to watch the sunset (though I wouldn’t recommend going in the water with children—it was a bit rough). I also have to add that the hosts were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had—I really appreciated that! Overall, it was a great stay. (:

I loved this place. It was right off the highway. The property was huge. Loved the farm! The views of the mountains were incredible. I'm definitely coming back again.

We loved the villa! Very large and more beautiful in real life than in the photo! The location is very good between the mountains and the beach. 5 minutes or less by car from a supermarket and even a McDonald's! The beach is about 8 minutes' drive away, also close to several activities and a golf course!

I would like to start with the pros: The house and pool were awesome and as described. We spent many hours by or in the pool. My kids loved it. the house was spacious and the kitchen had space to prepare food. The security in the neighborhood seemed quite good and the fence and gate around the house made everyone feel very safe. Our host was very easy to communicate with and she responded quickly. I would say however that we did have some issues with the toilets not filling back up and this lead to some less than desirable experiences. We mentioned the problem a few days in and unfortunately nothing was solved by the time we left. I don't know how easy or hard it is to get a plumber in so it might not have been the hosts fault. the showers are also not great. A few situations that we had asked for things that were missing or not working, or needed to be replaced and unfortunately the solutions never happened. Overall I liked the house and the host. I would recommend.

Beautiful home! Looks exactly like the pictures. Perfect on the first floor for individuals with mobility disabilities. Security is very friendly and helpful. The location is also surrounded by a high wall/fence which made us feel safer. Directly behind the unit there's a kids playground and pool. very fun. Also, the unit was beautiful, big showers and very clean.

We had a fantastic stay in Kendy’s place! The property was exactly as described—super clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The garden was a peaceful oasis, and everything from the lighting to the A/C and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. It truly felt like a home away from home. A couple of helpful tips: be sure to bring mosquito repellent, especially if you’re spending time outside in the evenings. Also, if you’re traveling with pets, make sure they’re on a leash or well supervised—the property is not fully enclosed and it’s easy for animals to wander off. Kendy, the host, was kind and helpful, though responses took a little time—just something to keep in mind. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely return!

the location was great near the city with great food and beautiful tourist attractions. My family of 8 and I fit very comfortably I would recommend this place and would stay here again!

Just recently, I visited Puerto Plata and stayed at Mary’s place. It was very cozy, and I loved the colors! The furniture and especially the bed was comfortable. It's within walking distance of the beach, which was a huge plus for me. It’s a cute pink house with a cozy vibe. I would definitely recommend this place. Beautiful location and we're very happy that we booked this stay. We had a vacation booked at a resort in Amber Cove and Ryan was great in picking us up (extra charge, but great convenience), giving us a tour guide style ride to the location, and then showing us around the property. The location is beautiful, great views, and a great experience to learn about cacao and the chocolate making process. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a safe experience in the local culture and mountains. Note: While everything is clean and safe, this is still a farm and some of the amenities are of the more rustic experience. The price is well worth it, but it is not a luxury hotel.

I feel lucky to have stayed in such a beautiful home in such a peacful and private area. I would definetly recommend this place its clean an well upkept with a very friendly host. Also its close to alot of beachs and resteraunts. One last thing the view from the roof was absolutely stunning

I had a pleasant stay at Niurka's place. The apartment was really cozy and you had everything you needed. Niurka was also super helpful from start to finish. I recommend this place.
