Only a few miles from the Lake District National Park and Solway Coastline, Scholars Cottage is superbly situated for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and some of the best local walking routes during your stay. The Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and we look forward to hosting for you as you explore the Western Lake District.

The End, Mosser - For 2 adults and 2 children

The End is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The End is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps TWO ADULTS and TWO CHILDREN. It has a large shared garden, unique kitchen and lounge, bathroom and ONE large bedroom (a King and two single sofa beds). The End is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

Spacious cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, can sleep up to 5 people. Ideal for a family, couple or group of friends. Fully equipped with WiFi and TV. A cozy getaway to relax with tea and scones in front of the log burner or a place to soak your feet after an exhilarating day on the Lakeland Fells. Cockermouth is a great base for holidaymakers and adventurers alike. Close to the Lake District for walking, hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, wild water swimming or just relaxing.

Rose Cottage Studio

A lovely self contained studio situated a ten minute walk from the beautiful market town of Cockermouth. With ample free parking, and great wifi. Our studio has its own private entrance and key lock box. Inside there is a fully fitted kitchen, large flat screen TV, 2 seater recliner sofa, dining area, king sized bed(or can be split into 2 single beds with prior notice) en-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries and towels plus a decent hairdryer.

Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
