MONT CHALET in the 1st Dark Sky Reserve 🌠

Mont Chalet is located in Estrie in the small village of La Patrie. About fifteen minutes from Mont-Mégantic National Park. This cottage WITHOUT electricity, offers you the desired comfort by being totally independent. Wood heating, refrigerator, stove and hot water are functional with propane gas and lights thanks to 12 volt batteries. Skiing, snowshoeing and walking are possible on this 270-acre land. This Swiss cottage is a great place to get away from the city, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it's for reading, sleeping, yoga, drawing, tea or board games; everything is well furnished. The land gives direct access to the river to the walking trail as well as private access for a bonfire. Where the stars shine even more, the beautiful Potton region offers a variety of playgrounds in the heart of nature. It's up to you to discover it!

To stretch out, a 5-minute walk away you have arrived at the Mont-Orford creek-des-chênes trail. Multiple beaches within 10 Km . Ideal for hiking, kayaking, cyclist or simply for nature lovers. In addition, if you feel like it, you will find the city of Magog 15 kilometers away and Eastman 7 kilometers from the house.

Peaceful and restorative cottage on the edge of a river. The hot tub, the splendid cedar sauna available year-round and the magnificent river allows you to have a completely relaxing thermal experience. Starting point of a beautiful and wide wooded trail that follows the watercourse (public). Beautiful roads and pretty villages nearby (Ayer's Cliff, North Hatley, Magog, Lake Massawippi, Coaticook...). Very nice bike path in the area.

We are happy to welcome you to the Gîte des Arts, a peaceful place located in front of a small ecological lake, in the middle of the forest. It's a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy activities in the area. Unique artwork, made by local artists, is on display in the gite. You can admire, discover, and acquire them to extend the art experience at home. We believe wellness comes through nature, beauty, and simplicity.
