TLC is a comfy cottage on a private 6-acre lake 15 minutes from Helen, and very close to many vineyards and hiking trails. Paddle a Jon boat or paddleboards, fish, swim, relax on a large deck, walk, dine on the screened porch, grill, and enjoy the fire pit. Comfortable new sleeper sofa obtained in 2022. We are handicapped accessible, and pet friendly. Wifi and smart TV are provided as well as many DVD’s, books and games. No cable TV or satellite TV. A fun nature getaway!

This was a beautiful, well maintained property. It had every thing you might need during your stay. Gorgeous furnishings, very clean and great amenities. Tessa was very easy to work with and responded almost immediately to any questions I had. Should I ever need a rental in the area I will definitely choose Chateau Yonah.

Beautiful home and landscaping with an excellent view of the mountains. The home layout and furnishings are very comfortable for a family or friends gathering. The outdoor jacuzzi is great with the lovely view of the mountains. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We would love to stay here again. David is a superior host. He replies quickly to any questions and he provides a very informative online house manual before you arrive.

The dome was beautifully decorated, well maintained, and very clean. The beds and the bedding were top notch and very comfortable—I slept extremely well. The AC/heat worked well. The surroundings were simple and peaceful. If you’re staying, note that the portable induction cooktop is in a cabinet underneath the kitchen counter. Took me a minute to find it, but It worked great. The microwave doubles as a small oven—I didn’t use it as an oven, but don’t expect to make a big roast or anything.

Perfect location to go to Helen and near family friendly hikes to waterfalls which is what we wanted! Bonus the resort had a rodeo! Wish we stayed longer to enjoy more of the resort amenities! House was wonderful and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Very quiet. I went to finish my book and it was great. The only natural light is in the kitchen so it's important to go out every day, something I assume you would bedoing anyway. Clean and quiet. Would go back.

Best Outdoor Escape for Families in GA Mountains

We had such an amazing time at Adventure Acres. The house is immaculate, the kitchen has everything you need, beds were so comfortable and there was something for everyone! Sometimes this can be difficult with the age differences of our kiddos..we traveled with our three boys- ages 22, 16, and 7 and they ALL had the best time. We spent days tubing and hiking and evenings grilling, sitting around the fire pit, and playing games (including a night time game of laser tag- so fun!!). This was just what our family needed to relax and reconnect. I could not recommend this place more. We will definitely be back..and for a longer stay next time! Thank you Jamie and Jennifer for sharing your home with us!
