Our stay at this cabin in the North Carolina mountains exceeded all expectations. It offered the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of outdoor activities and a comfortable, peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat to reconnect with nature, this cabin is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return! Great house with an amazing view. It was nice that the host left a Christmas tree up for our celebration. The beds were very comfortable. We communicated a few maintenance issues to the host. Overall it was great for our family to meet up for the holidays.

We stayed here for our annual mom and son‘s trip. With three moms and five boys all around the age of 10 we needed space inside and outside for them to run off their energy. The boys had a great time at the house. The backyard was an amazing place to find adventures. We walked down to the river to fish and then finished the night with s’mores by the fire. The upstairs room with four queen beds made for an awesome space for the boys to hang out at the end of the night. Us three moms had an amazing time too. We would definitely go back

The location is perfect. Matched photos and description perfectly. The listing did have one error. One of the queen beds is actually a king. The river has a wonder sandy area right in front on the house which was perfect for the kids to play in. Would definitely book again.

My friends and I met at Anita’s place, it was perfectly located halfway between my home in South Carolina and my friend’s homes in Pennsylvania. Anita’s back to the fifties home was exactly what we were looking for. My friends and I try to get together every spring and every fall, and we will most likely return to Anita’s place in the future. We are all cat lovers, so Elvis and his friends the were an added bonus for us!! We also enjoyed watching deer, in the back yard in the evenings!! Loved reading about the history of the family and the home that was displayed throughout the home!! We had a fabulous time!

Our hosts were very responsive and friendly. The house was very clean and comfortable.

This is my second stay of what I hope to be many, many, many more. And just like the first, everything was pristine, thoughtful, and luxurious. I can't recommend this spot enough, but even more: the generous, kind hosts and property manager. Book your trip (just not when I'm planning to visit).
