Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

This BnB is a must stay, we have been multiple times and will continue to stay. They are the all time best host and make your experience one of a kind. The private pond is an awesome addition to the relaxing and beautiful patio, the house is spotless, modern and comfortable. This was our middle meeting place. The apartment worked great, not only for our stay with our dog, but for bringing our company back to relax and play cards (or watch a movie). It was the same price as a hotel room, but we got a kitchen and separate bedroom. Angel was good at asking what our plans were so she could customize our stay. I would definitely book this place again!

Enjoyed our stay in this loft. It is clean, well-maintained, and convenient to main drag area. We appreciated the free drink tokens for next-door where we had a delicious dinner. Also recommend front porch cidery down the street. Hard to find good lodging in this area, so glad this was available and fit the bill.
