Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clare

This is the second time I have been privileged to spend a week at Nuala‘s rental. Nuala and her family live on the end of a peninsula of the beach that runs along the Trump Doonbeg golf course. It is a spectacular location and a 30 minute walk along the beach to the Trump restaurant is a wonderful way to spend the morning. Nuala’s rental is as well equipped as any rental I have found. There are things such as a pedal powered cart for kids to ride on, a chicken coop with a variety of productive hens that produce multicolored eggs for the guests consumption. This is the finest rental that I have ever experienced in the last 12 years of traveling. I hope you enjoy your time there as much as we have.

This is the best AirBnB that I’ve ever stayed in and Conor was the best BnB host I’ve ever had. Conor goes above and beyond and has the kindest soul. If you’re a creative then this is a must stay place. Thank you Conor and Bánín (his incredible doggy) for the best stay ever!

Seafield house was a wonderful place to stay, it is very well located with a short walk into Lahinch town, close to all amenities, restaurants, shops etc. The house itself was ideal for a large family gathering such as ours with a number of reception areas and a large dining space. The rooms were spotless, and very comfortable. Noel was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. A great time was had by all!

I can’t say enough about Tommy’s place!! Beautiful views, peaceful. The house was immaculate, spacious, and the beds comfortable. Tommy was an amazing host and shared so much knowledge of what to do and where to eat. Maggie May’s and Ken’s Oriental were delicious.

We had a wonderful time at Bernie and Margaret's cottage. We already stayed there last year and returned for a longer stay this year. It feels like home - actually, better 😍 It's so cozy and beautifully furnished, not to mention the island's beauty. We'll definitely come again.

Beautiful apartment! really enjoyed our 2 night stay here! Perfect location only a 30 min walk to Doolin village. Both nights we walked into Doolin to listen to music in pubs and have dinner. Felt safe walking home late in the night as Eimear provided hi- vis jackets local taxi numbers were also available but we enjoyed the walk home. Some breakfast items were provided which was a lovely touch. Thank you Eimear and Adam for the lovely stay!

Paula was a great host, proactive and always responsive. Sent the host guidebook as soon as we booked! House was comfortable and nicely equipped. Location right on the Burren and handy to Doolin, Bunratty, etc. Local roads are very narrow, as is common.

Wonderfully serene & spacious country home, very well cared for. Wood and fire starter provided for the fireplace to warm us up for tea & dvd throwback evenings. We had a lovely time at Helen’s sweet place 💚

Very lovingly furnished. There were small snacks and a large selection of coffee and tea. You could sit outside very nicely.

Mary was a very welcoming host- she was responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, and left a wonderful welcome pack - including her delicious homemade granola. Mary was also very welcoming to our son and his wife who managed to fit in staying with us during part of our week's stay (they slept on a futon). They loved the place too! The flat is just outside Kinvara which is a lovely village, where, on Mary's recommendation, we listened to live trad Irish music and ate pizza one night. It's a great place from which to explore the burren (don't miss the lovely Russell Gallery and the nearby Flaggy Shore!). Thank you Mary!

We had such a beautiful stay at Sheila’s place in Adare. Lovely apartment so close to all the local shops & pubs, the perfect place to stay in Adare! Sheila was an amazing host, so responsive and loads of great amenities in the apartment! Couldn’t recommend enough, comfy cosy and homely! Thank you for a great stay :)

This a great little spot to stay, great base to explore Clare, plenty of attractions, restaurants and local towns within driving distance. Theresa and Jerome are fantastic hosts, so friendly and responsive. Their place is so cozy and immaculately clean.

We have been coming over the last many years. We absolutely love it, it’s so quiet and peaceful. A great spot to refuel the batteries .. can’t wait to come back, Kevin is a very good host, always friendly and accommodating, same goes for his wife and two boys !

We loved our stay at Barry’s! It was clean, quiet, spacious and very comfortable. Barry met us when we arrived and oriented us to everything. It is a great location to walk everywhere in Ennis, and just a short walk from the bus/train station. We would definitely return for our next visit!

Apart from wonders of the cliffs and Gus O’Connors pub music just up the road, Ann’s apartment was outstanding. Everything reflects careful planning and quality. All wood-bedroom flooring, kitchen cupboards and doors (real wood) table legs and mirror frames- are all stained the same colour. Kitchen splash back, bench and shelving in the bathroom are all the same stone. Kitchen appliances all stainless steel. The numerous power points (2 each side of the bed) are waist height and thus accessible. The bed and linen rate in the luxurious category. Even the toilet flushing mechanism is superior to anything I’ve seen. A quality build and a quality AirBnB experience. Highly rated.

John's little cottage was beautiful. The views from the cottage stunning. To be able to hear and see the ocean was so tranquil. John was extremely friendly and came to my rescue as I got a flat tyre . My dog Duke loved the beach he explored it for hours . If you want peace and quiet with the most beautiful views John's cottage is a must . I definitely will be going back again . Tbh I didn't want to leave there.

Me, my husband amd two year old son stayed for a holiday for a few days, the apartment was very clean, comfortable and had all we needed. It was just as shown in the pictures, a lovely modern apartment, an ideal place to stay to explore Doolin, Ennistimon, Lahinch, Lisdoonvarna and surrounding areas. Ann was very responsive to any questions i had also.

Great value here, for what is quite a large space! Location was perfect - ideal as I had a rental car to park, but could easily walk into town in a couple mins (it's literally around the corner from the main street). I booked this last minute, communication was great and fast and instructions were very clear. I also appreciated the treats and water left out and local recommendations from Diarmuid! I would definitely come back, especially for a longer stay as the kitchen is fantastic and has everything one needs.

Nice stay in Kilfenora. Lovely place and nice local pubs. Nice touches also with towels and snacks too.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, well equipped, and well laid out. Martha was always responsive, and we really appreciated amenities she provided.

Picturesque and rural - sooo clean with fridge stocked!! Just a little warm for us so resorted to opening back door - no big deal. Thank you Della!

I loved my stay in the Burren Nature Sanctuary. It was private, peaceful, surrounded by pristine Nature and yet always someone on hand if there were any issues. Would highly recommend it.

The accommodation is thoughtfully equipped, clean and comfortable, which made us feel right at home. It is located almost in the middle of Inishmore, which makes it a good base for exploring the island on a bicycle (mind the direct route to the house is considered harder than the path along the coast). It has a beautiful beach within a walking distance. Sinéad is a welcoming and proactive host and was available to answer any questions we had before and during our stay.
