The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

Wow! Lee's place is bloody lovely. It had everything we could have needed. The garden was a great spot to sit in with a coffee & perfectly secure for our dog too. Thank you so much for the use of your home. And such a perfect place for beachy walks too; literally 5 mins walk to Dovercourt Beach, 10 mins walk down to the cafe & amusements (which my teen boys loved). We had a lovely break

spotlessly clean and very comfortable. would definitely stay again. the only slight disappointment was that the description referred to views of the harbour and beach and they are named harbour view but there was no view. it didn't spoil the trip though.

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

Just spent three nights in this accommodation and we absolutely loved it. The views from every window and the balcony are breathtaking. Tim was extremely responsive in answering our queries, we recommend this highly.

We had an absolutely brilliant and relaxing stay – the accommodation was lovely and really well thought out. The beds were comfy, and we slept well throughout. One of the real highlights was the local wildlife – we were amazed by how close we got to nature, and being (lightly!) stalked by the cows definitely made us smile! Would love to come back soon.

Very comfortable, well equipped caravan. Travel cot easy to put in largest bedroom. Good amenities, bonus of small bath ideal for babies. Lovely decking area which catches the sun and clear easy instructions for access. Will be booking again!

Beautiful place, excellent facilities and clean. Antonina was brilliant, responsive and a lovely host. Would definitely recommend. It was perfect for our big family gathering and plenty for the kids to play with in the kids room! All in all, wonderful trip! Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely caravan, kids absolutely loved it the decor and lights. Beautiful decking areas which are a nice sun trap if the winds are strong. Would definitely recommend. Also thanks to Marcin for the complimentary drinks. Just what was needed when we checked in after a morning on the beach.

What made our stay so great was the communication we had with Daisy. There were a few snags, parking, getting in the complex late at night without a key code, heating and water didn’t work the first day and the light in the kids room didn’t work. That said, she was incredibly helpful and polite. All sorted quick as a flash. Very clean, free WiFi, all you needed for a nice weekend break. Would 100% go again and recommend to any family. We’re a family of 5 and it was …..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!! Thankyou Daisy! 💙

We were in Felixstowe for a family emergency. Communication was very quick which was appreciated as it was all very short notice. We are familiar with the area and it’s well located with good access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was cosy and warm even though it was extremely cold outside when we were there.

We loved staying at Nicola’s place. It was spacious, warm and so near to the beach and we had a wonderful time. One thing that stood out was the fact that the house was beautifully decorated and it felt like families and friends had had happy times there. The garden catches the morning sun and is sheltered from the wind, we enjoyed opening the doors in the kitchen to hear the birds and enjoy a morning coffee outside.

This is a fantastic well equipped house on one of the best roads in the Avenues of Frinton. I’ve been coming to Frinton for 45 years my parents now live here but as a child I came every summer for August. It’s a ten min walk to the high street and ten mins down to the sea front. I can honestly say it was a real pleasure to stay here. The house is attractive, clean and comfortable. It has a lovely feel to it and it is truly a home from home experience. The garden is well kept and spacious. A great kitchen and plenty of board games and books and a huge tv. Beds were very comfortable. Perfect stay, thank you so much louise

My friend and I met here after a two year gap of not seeing each other, what a delightful place to meet up in. Comfortable and homely The view was spectacular despite the rain but it didn't affect our stay. We visited the radar museum up the way, we thought it was amazing and well worth a visit. Thank you

We have just had the pleasure of staying in this lovely caravan . It was spotlessly clean ,very well equipped , and bedding, towels etc were all high standard. It is a very well deserved 5.0 rating . Wouldn't hesitate returning and highly recommend it. Collette is a very good hoste . The site itself is very quiet and well maintained,

We really enjoyed our stay at Janet’s house. The house is well equipped with a large kitchen/dining space and cosy lounge. The beds were very comfortable too! It’s a great location to explore Walton and based in the quieter part towards the Naze end. The pier and town are a 5-10 min walk and the beach is really close too. Although the sun was out it was very windy so we didn’t really get to use the back garden but that would be a lovely space in the summer to relax in!!

A lovely spot for a weekend by the seaside. Walking distance to both the high street and the beach. Plenty of outside space and all the toys in the world for the kids to play with. Will certainly be back!

Fantastic stay at upper lodge. The place is fantastic. It felt big and airy but had cosy spaces. We really enjoyed the look out room. Incredible views across to both sides of the peninsula. What a place to watch sunrises/sunsets and even a storm! The house was very warm and comfortable. One very firm king bed and one softer king bed. Towels and highchair (Tripp trapp) not listed in info but provided. Kitchen was well equipped. Clean overall. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Bit of dust/ a few insects but expected with such a large room and high blinds. And a few dog hairs as it’s a dog friendly property. The floor is cracking in main room and has been covered with plastic tape whilst awaiting repair. Some sharp edges under the tape so slippers advised. Was ok as our baby isn’t crawling yet but probably not ideal for toddlers. Great area and lovely walks nearby. House is on bridleway and leads straight to Shotley vineyard (and cafe!) Would recommend this place!
