Centrally located between beautiful Mt Hood recreation area, breathtaking Columbia River Gorge and the stunning Oregon Coast. This private, renovated art studio has skylights and quiet views of nature. As an interior designer, I loved creating a space that is as much an experience as a night away from home...and only 10 miles from downtown Portland! Please be advised that beginning Dec19, 2025, construction has begun on three homes behind our cottage. Work can begin at 7:00AM-7:00PM Mon-Fri., 9:00AM-5:00PM Sat.-Sun. There could be noise during those hours, it's out of our control.

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Short drive away from Silver Falls State Park and also the Oregon Garden. The Willamette Valley wine country is less than an hours drive and the beautiful Oregon coast a little over an hour. Oregon's capital, Salem can be reached in about 15 minutes.

Come enjoy our peaceful Creekside Haven, a guest house (built onto the stand-alone garage apart from the main house) nestled in a country forest with a creek. You'll have access to the fire pit for s'mores and the relaxing hammock for two. We're just 18 miles South of downtown Portland. Sorry, no pets, weddings, parties, hair dying, smoking of any substance indoors, or illegal drugs.
