Welcome to our cottage "Le repos du potier", a peaceful place on the edge of a hamlet. Ideal starting point for nature walks (Natura 2000). Nearby: Réjalant River (swimming, canoeing), Valley of the Monkeys, typical villages. (Ruffec, Confolens, Verteuil-sur-Charente, Nanteuil-en-Vallée). Further (45 min): Futuroscope, Poitiers, Angoulême. We also offer ceramic initiations and Raku cooking demonstrations in the neighboring workshop. Book soon!

The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market.
