However, if that is not your cup of tea, you are only a short walk from the heart of the gorgeous, quaint town of Longridge.

A cosy, modern, self-contained bungalow tucked away in peaceful countryside. With one double bedroom, a bathroom, and a comfortable lounge with a fold-out futon, it’s the ideal escape for rest and relaxation. Set in rural Preston near the coast and River Wyre, it’s perfect for walkers, with Blackpool Illuminations just a short drive away. Lancaster and the Lake District are also within easy reach. Due to the rural setting, driving is essential; a parking space is located next to the bungalow.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Oak House, Leyland, 3min M6 - spacious and lovely

We are excited to be offering Oak House for guests to visit. Once called the Garden of Lancashire, Leyland is a beautiful area with easy access to the Lakes, Bowland Fells, Rivington Pike, and seaside towns of Blackpool, Southport and Morecambe Bay. It is also a short distance from Manchester and Liverpool. With the indoor wood stove, new kitchen and bathroom, oak furniture, outdoor fire pit and garden overlooking a park, we hope you’ll find this a fantastic getaway.

Coachmans House at Churchtown

This beautiful and quaint cottage used to be the coach house for the mansion just down the road. It was build in 1616. Pub is walking distance. The cottage has full gas and electric but also a wood burning stove. The cottage is set in the quiet picturesque village of Churchtown. Near Garstang. This property is pet friendly. Please contact me if you would like to bring more than 1 pet. I charge £15 per pet per booking extra (unless extra cleaning is needed).

The village has a quaint and peaceful charm about it that you will also feel when you step inside the cottage.

Our stylish cottage is centrally located in the historic market town of clitheroe. Nestled on a quiet street, this fully refurbished gem, is just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. It is ideally placed to visit the local attractions such as Clitheroe Castle and museum, the Grand Theatre, Homes Mill and the Everyman Cinema. There is a pleasant outside space where you can relax before heading out on your new adventures.
