Cottage holiday rentals in City Island

We booked the house for five nights for a group of six adults and had a lovely visit. Gabriela was a fantastic host communicating super promptly to our questions. It rained 90% of the time so we used the interior of the house to the fullest, and not the exterior (no fire pit, bikes, or hot tub) so cannot comment on those features. All appliances worked well. Kitchen is helpfully labeled and well stocked with kitchenware. The beds were very comfortable, towels fluffy, and downstairs family/game room is a great space for all ages. Furniture was comfortable, dining table was welcoming and though the house shows a bit of wear and tear here and there, everything was clean, tidy, and decorated appealingly. Tip: Bellvale Market just 7” away had great quality food products; Warwick, a quaint larger town, is just 10-15” away providing all other conveniences.

What a wonderful experience! I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this was a fantastic place to do it! We had a terrific time. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Location was great . Visited 2 Farmer’s market and enjoyed the beauty in general. We will return! Thank you for being a gracious host!❤️

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

Lil Nauti was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were adequate, with very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The wardrobe space and drawers were great as we had a long stay with a lot of baggage! Jason has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for a stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. Cute cottage and delightful private garden.

What a gem of a find! Perfect for two. Exceptionally clean and perfect in every way for us. We were visiting family so usually only ate breakfast there but unit contained everything we needed to do so. Location was perfect as you could walk to many restaurants and a few stores. The host, Barbara, was so helpful before, during and after our stay. I felt she had put so much attention into the details of setting up her rental, so that you could just unpack and enjoy the reason for your visit. Hope to visit again. Highly recommend.

What a charming, well appointed refuge on the most lovely property. Everything was a breeze and Gersende was a gracious host.

A great place for a weekend with friends. The views are immaculate, ideal if you love to watch a sunrise. The outdoor area is beautiful and accommodating all types of activities. Nice restaurants and stores nearby. Would definitely save this place for future trips.

Came down from South Carolina with wife and daughter, to spend time with our relatives for Christmas. what a beautiful home great place to stay. Will be back

The cottage is as pictured. Very clean with everything I needed. The area is beautiful for walking on the beach or the streets around the cottage. WiFi was strong throughout the cabin for working. Thanks Bert for your attention and listing this cottage.

Great place to stay, very responsive host and a beautiful place

Jim’s place was an absolute gem for my inaugural trip to Black Rock! The Loft is incredibly spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness, attention to detail, and beautiful furnishings. Jim's communication was top-notch, making the entire experience seamless. One of the highlights was the extensive music collection, perfect for setting the mood during my downtime. The bed and furniture provided a level of comfort that made it hard to leave. Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street, the location couldn’t be better; it’s just a leisurely stroll away from delightful restaurants, charming shops, food markets, and more. I can’t wait to return for another stay whenever I’m in the area!

This was a return stay for us. We were here at Donna and Bill's cottage last year and will be for all our future trips up north. They are kind, friendly and we always feel very welcomed. The Cottage is lovely, clean, a quiet location and close to major highways. couldn't ask for more ...Highly recommend The Cottage ....Thanks to Donna n Bill for having us!!!

Malcom’s place is great! This is our 5th time staying here, coming back in September again. Very convenient location, EWR is 20 mins away. Uber delivers all types of food. Place is secluded and very private. Huge clean and kept back yard.

The proximity to the beach is unmatched. Additionally, a short drive or bike ride to Post Road provides an unlimited amount of food and culture to enjoy. The space is comfortable and clean with all you need for a short or long stay.

We had a great stay at the Cozy Cottage! It was the perfect space for our family of 3. Garrett provided great instructions and was always available for any questions. We were close to family and everything we needed to do in NY. We would stay at the Cottage again when visiting the area.

Great host, very fast to respond and super helpful. The space is perfect, worked well for our family of 4 (2 young children). We will definitely stay there again when returning to the area. Thank you!

We stayed in Marks’s Writer’s Cottage for five nights when visiting friends in Westchester. We recommend it without reservation. The location in Katonah is wonderful. We enjoyed taking walks through the neighborhood in the mornings and checking out all the interesting Victorian houses. We also appreciated being able to eat at the local restaurants (Blue Dolphin ) and cafes (LMNOP) in walking distance. Multiple markets are also a walk away. It was also a great base for visiting Northern Westchester where there aren’t many options for longer stays. We’d been planning to stay in hotels near Tarrytown before finding Mark’s place; being in Katonah made our trip much more special. The house was great. It definitely feels like a cottage out in the woods even with the main house across the backyard. We enjoyed the privacy and space after a long urban trip, appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, and writing and sitting space. We might have appreciated a sofa downstairs for lounging.

Perfect romantic location for our anniversary. Definitely would recommend to family and friends. Very private and clean. A lot of extra touches that made the stay that much more enjoyable. We’ll be back.. Thanks again, Joe & Beth
