The church is nestled within a tranquil olive grove which made it easy to relax and disconnect from the stressors of the big city. Roberto was absolutely incredible and I cannot give higher praise—he is truly the standard when it comes to hosts. He was attentive, responsive to any issues, and helpful to solve any difficulties that we had with travel arrangements. It’s easy to see why this property is in such high demand. It was my first time staying in Tuscany and Roberto’s church is already calling me back for another stay! Most highly recommended.

We chose to experience the tasting menu and wine pairing and were left in awe with each and every dish. So much so that we opted for the a la carte menu the next night for dinner. Getting to dine with a private view of stunning Recco at golden hour and at night is a memory we won’t soon forget, nor the warm hospitality and graciousness of our host.

We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

This was the perfect location in Cinque Terre for our family! The views from the balcony were incredible! We watched the sunset and enjoyed wine and snacks every night. Monica and Andrea were amazing and helpful with suggestions of things to do, places to eat, and helping us navigate our way to the apartment from the train station. Would definitely stay here again! Riomaggiore is the best place to stay in all of Cinque Terre in our opinion.

Davide communicated well and was very quick to respond to my questions. His mother met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment which was an added bonus. The view off the balcony was spectacular. I definitely recommend staying in this apartment.
