Holiday rentals with a kayak in Christchurch City Council

Beautiful cottage in a stunning place! The home itself is like stepping back in time (but with all the mod cons you'd expect and more) and the garden is the most peaceful oasis with a babbling creek running 10m away. An easy 15min walk to the main street of town, and Maree met us on arrival to show us the place and how the sauna/spa worked and was super responsive and available for anything we needed (their home is right beside the cottage with the garden shared, but they were incredibly quiet and respectful of our space). The supplied breakfast bits were very appreciated too. Loved our stay and 100% would stay again!

Such a lovely spot. The house was very warm and cosy and such lovely views. Lots of games and activities for the kids and we also enjoyed the cliff top walk.

Great location easy access to walking tracks, the city and more. Comfortable space which was great for our family. We would definitely stay here again

Sarah's place was perfect. We were staying for an event in Lyttelton and taking the ferry across was perfect. It was peaceful and had everything you could need. Lots of interesting books, art and so comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for a stay.

Friendly neighbour to help, accomodation was good, we thought the bunks room would be bigger, so a bit tight for 5 adults Location great. Very quiet.

Close to amenities, shore line and plenty of coffee shops & eateries. Plenty of space and toys to keep kids occupied.

We stayed here on our last night in NZ and it was a great spot. The outdoor bath was wonderful to sit and watch the stars above. The amenities are perfect for an overnight getaway, and the space is very private at the back of the property. The view of the harbour was great to wake up to.

A great stay at a rustic cottage that provides a rare old world feel. the open fire places made the stay particularly special as well as the outdoor bath. will come again

The tiny home itself is beautifully designed, making great use of space. Despite its compact size, it felt surprisingly spacious and cozy. The natural light and well-thought-out details made it feel like a little sanctuary. The amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was perfect for preparing meals, and the bathroom had all the essentials. Plus, the location was just a short drive from downtown Christchurch, so it was easy to explore the city while still having a peaceful retreat to return. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind. Highly recommend!!
