Holiday rentals with beach access in Chorafakia

Place was great, location right in the harbor, but still quiet. Place was exactly as described.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). We had a wonderful stay at Sifi’s. He is easy going, responsive and provided great recommendations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and we felt very comfortable with our stay. Sadly our visit was short since there are plenty to see and do that we didn’t get to do but I would book this place again if we come back.

Très bien situé pour visiter la Canée et ses environs ainsi que Balos. Logement très propre et à 2 pas de la plage. Nasos est très réactif et sympathique. Petite attention à notre arrivée (fruits, huile d’olive et Raki) qui est super appréciable ! Merci !

Pobyt oceniam bardzo dobrze. Apartament był nieskazitelnie czysty, a wyposażenie samego mieszkania było bardzo bogate - nie musicie się o nic matwić! Mamy do dyspozycji pralkę, suszarkę, ręczniki, czystą pościel, czy nawet cały sprzęt plażowy, kosmetyki i wszystkie potrzebne detergenty. Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra - w pobliżu mamy do dyspozycji kilka pięknych plaż, supermarkety oraz wypożyczalnie samochodów. 200m od domu znajduje się duży bezpłatny parking, więc mamy gdzie zaparkować wypożyczone auto. Gospodarze są bardzo uprzejmi i z chęcią pomogą i doradzą, gdy zajdzie taka potrzeba. Na miejscu znajdziemy papierowe przewodniki, mapki Krety itp, co pozwoli odpowiednio zaplanować kolejne dni podróży. PS. Dziękujemy bardzo za domowej roboty smakołyki! Były pyszne 😄 Gorąco polecam miejsce oraz samego gospodarza, pozdrawiam!

Thrasyvoulos’s was a very responsive, proactive and helpful host. The apartment was in an amazing location with great restaurants nearby. Would recommend!

Jenny is such a wonderful person and a fantastic host! The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few days in Chania. Not to mention it has a beautiful view! Please note you need to be able bodied to stay here as there are 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment - but this was not a problem for us. The apartment was about a 20-30 minute walk to Chania town, and it was a beautiful walk along the ocean. Jenny was so kind and helpful, responded so quickly to messages and gave us many local recommendations. Thank you Jenny!!! We had a wonderful time. :)

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Ein Ort zum Verlieben! Die Villa von ThinkVilla in Rethymno hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: stilvolles Design, absolute Sauberkeit und dieser traumhafte Blick – einfach wow! Der Pool, die Ruhe, das Licht – wir haben jeden Moment genossen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den herzlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Wir sind dankbar für diese Auszeit und kommen mit einem Lächeln im Herzen zurück.

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

A fantastic villa for our family. The pool was amazing and the kids spent so much time in there. The diving board and depth of the pool was a real bonus. The villa was clean and comfortable with so much space for us all. Michail was so responsive and helpful and along with his father answered any questions we had quickly. The airport transfers were a real bonus. The villa is not far from the local village/town with some lovely restaurants and there is a beautiful beach a few minute car ride away. We found Michail’s guide book so useful, highlighting local restaurants and places to visit. We had a fantastic stay thank you ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at the home in Chania. The communication was great from the moment we booked the reservation. The host made us feel very welcome and we appreciated all of the food/snacks/drinks provided. We were celebrating a special occasion and the host acknowledged this, remembering from our initial conversation, and left us some special treats and a card that we felt was above and beyond. The parking spot was great to have as we rented a car through Infinity at the host's recommendation. Even with the car, we walked the area and went to the Venetian Harbor everyday which was very close with shopping, restaurants, and people watching. We found the home to be clean and well represented by the pictures. The washer was a fantastic perk we utilized during our stay. We stayed in the lower level bedroom and found the bed to be very comfortable. We would recommend this listing and would stay here again if we returned to Chania.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Konstantinos und Stelina, die eine wunderschöne Wohnung für ihre Gäste zur Verfügung stellen. Wir waren begeistert von der Aufteilung der Räume, sehr modern mit bodentiefen Fenstern, einer Küche, in der nichts fehlte (selbst eine Salatschleuder und ein Messbecher waren da!) und mit einem komfortablen Bett. Die Handtücher werden jeden 3. Tag gewechselt und die Bettwäsche jeden 5. Tag, echter Luxus! Es duftet sehr angenehm, Dank der gut ausgesuchten Duftstäbchen. Für mich ist eine gut riechende Wohnung immer sehr wichtig und das haben wir ebenso sehr geschätzt. Der Balkon ist luftig und nach 10:00 im Schatten, da lässt es sich angenehm aushalten und der schöne Blick auf die Souda Bay ist einfach herrlich. Zur Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, man ist also schnell im Zentrum, aber abends auch schnell wieder draußen. Ideal für Menschen, die das Stadtleben genießen wollen, es aber lieber etwas ruhiger haben möchten. Danke nochmals für alles!!

Rauhallinen alue, remontoidut puhtaat huoneet. Meillä oli oranssi huone, joka sijaitsee kellarissa pienillä ikkunoilla kadulle. Huone ei lämmennyt helteillä joka oli mahtavaa! Majoituimme 8 yötä, huoneessa oli saippuat ja shampoot valmiina. Sekä pientä naposteltavaa. Tämä oli ihana yllätys 🙏Rakennuksessa oli pyykkitupa, jossa pystyi pesemään vaatteita. Tämä oli mahtavaa koska me reissattiin vain repuilla. Omistaja oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Iso suositus!! 10/10

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren 12-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Lage ist toll - nur ein paar Meter vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem 15 Minuten bis zur Altstadt. Einchecken mit schlüsselbox und Beschreibung war super einfach. Der Gastgeber hat immer extrem schnell geantwortet. Und ich meine wirklich schnell- ich habe nie länger als ein paar Minuten auf eine Reaktion gewartet. Er hat mir mit allen Fragen und Anliegen geholfen und mir sogar einem Regenschirm ausgeliehen und eine Yogamatte für meine Zeit besorgt. Wirklich sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur stelle! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem (das finde ich immer wichtig!). Das Sofa ist schon etwas durchgesessen - aber es hat mich nicht gestört. Die Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen richtigen Herd, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle (die ich aber nicht benutz habe). Der Balkon ist groß und man hat morgens bis zum frühen Nachmittag sonne. Auf dem 2. Balkon gibts auch noch eine Waschmaschine!

Chania is a fantastic city and region, we have visited before and loved it however this time we wanted to stay outside of the old town due to noise in the evening. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. A short walk to both the old town and the beach, perfectly clean and also spacious with big terraces. Parking at the apartment which is a big plus for Chania. We visited with my parents and our toddler. Thank you Cryssa for such a lovely stay, we will certainly return!

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

We stayed at Irina’s for our honeymoon! We originally booked her other listing but she offered this listing as a gift to us for our honeymoon - this alone shows how kind irina is ! Her home is beautiful, clean, and unique. We met Irina for check in and she was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. Pita goal is across the street which made it easy for when we were hungry. a lot of other restaurants within walking distance. Also walking distance to the old town and easy to find parking! Felt like a local after 4 days as the neighbors always saw us and said hi ! Lol

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
