Welcome to the large thatched roof house where you can experience rural life in the Kaji area of Miyazaki City, the "Sunny Country of Okayama". The thatched roof is covered with tin, but the house layout is the same as it has been for a long time. Relax in two spacious Japanese-style rooms. From the veranda, you can see rice fields, mountains, rivers, and houses scattered about... You can see the countryside village. I want to spend time in nature, I want to have a unique experience in the countryside. Recommended for families and friends. The accommodation is fully equipped with a bath with a water heater and shower, and a Western-style toilet. Meals are completely self-catering, but we provide cookware and tableware. We also have experience plans such as BBQ equipment rental, soba noodle making, pizza making, and day camping. The standout feature of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind ‘egg sauna’. This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can’t get anywhere else, while being enveloped by the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. Inside the room, there is also a traditional Japanese irori (hearth) typical of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as sharing a hotpot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called ‘Kobo’, nestled among the mountains in Misasaki, Okayama Prefecture.
