Opened in spring 2023, this 300-year-old guest house is both old and new. It is conveniently located 5 minutes by car from Nishi Awakura Interchange and 10 minutes on foot from Awakura Onsen Station. You can stay in the main house [Osaji no Yado Doyashiki] at the end of the large gate. In winter, there is a possibility of snow, so we look forward to reservations from people who are well equipped for the cold and have tires on their cars, and who can enjoy the experience of shoveling snow during sudden heavy snowfalls. (Please refer to the photos of snowfall. We rent snow shovels, but it takes a while to get the car out.) No meals are provided. There is a large kitchen, so please use it. BBQs and campfires are also available near the parking lot facing the river. You can try cooking rice in a kettle if you wish. Please contact us. The bedroom is a Japanese-style room, so it is not a bed but a futon. We will prepare for the number of guests, so please lay them out yourself when you need them. We provide face towels and bath towels for the number of guests, but we do not provide toothbrushes, razors, etc. Please be aware.

We, Talmary, were founded in 2008 and make bread and beer with natural yeast. This hotel opened in 2022. The hotel also realizes the concept of Talmary, which creates a local cycle while protecting the natural fermentation environment. From amenities to cleaning detergents, we strive to use natural, organic, and biodegradable materials that preserve a healthy natural environment. We want you to enjoy the whole town environment, as well as homemade bread and beer... With that in mind, we built a hotel in the lovely post town of Chizu, which is a remnant of the Edo period. This one-story house was built in 1946. It had been vacant for a long time and was in a bad state, but I carefully renovated it with a carpenter. I worked with my friends to renovate this vacant building We have been working on renovations for 9 years. It has finally been reborn as a farmhouse inn.
