Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the centre of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organisation. Dongchonjae has been operated by a retired couple who opened their home since October 2020. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is the main house (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building I live in Sarangchae (Detached House) and will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. While renovating my 20-year-old house, I tried decorating one house as a guest accommodation. Please remember any regrets or discomfort you experienced as a guest while travelling, I'm trying to be a host who strives to make sure that travellers have a comfortable and happy time. In the summer, lie in a hammock and watch the night sky, In the winter, enjoy the wood fire in the fireplace. Looking at 600 or so jars makes you feel at ease. Spend a precious time at our own accommodation and our own cafe.

It's a 10 - minute walk from Asin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Pick-up from Asin Station is also available.
