Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chenango County

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect for us and the house was really nice and homey. There is plenty of off street parking and the washer / dryer came in handy. Overall, a great stay.

My family and I really enjoyed the time we got to spend at Alexis house! It’s a beautiful home and we really felt at home there. We had many wonderful memories together and I was so grateful for that! Highly recommend this place your family will love it! She is a great host and we can’t wait to come back again!

High Top House is a beautiful house, located on the edge of a state forest. Beautiful , peaceful location and a great resting place. The house felt like it was their own house, not sset us as a rental - very comfortable and stylish. Every room had views to the countryside. Chris and Therese welcomed us as if they were welcoming us into their own house, and even had all sorts of treats and useful items ready and waiting for the dog we thought would join us this weekend. We would absolutely look at staying at High Top House the next time we’re in the area.

Beautiful property and home. The host was very accomodating to our last minute reservation and late night arrival. The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved relaxing on the porch in the mornings and evenings and the walk to the creek was beautiful. The bed was comfortable with nice linens and plenty of pillows. The bathroom towels were plush and there were plenty for our stay. The home was stocked with all the amenities from qtips to coffee. The decor was inviting and tasteful. We enjoyed our stay at Genny's Cottage!

Perfect place for our large family to stay for a local wedding. Host John was super responsive and friendly. The place was very spacious and comfortable. The gift card to the local bakery Five Kids Bakehouse was a nice treat and probably the best pastries we’ve ever had.

This house is idyllic, had a herd of deer visit outside every night of our stay. A cozy space that we would gladly stay in again.

Place was amazing myself and my children enjoyed staying here. Everything was exactly in the pictures, it was very relaxing and peaceful and they had everything you could need right there. Totally worth every penny. I’ve stayed at other places and this one blew them out of the water. Definitely stay here again. Host was amazing and very polite and very responsive to any questions. Overall be foolish not to wanna stay here

The stay was truly wonderful! We enjoyed the charming atmosphere provided by our hosts, while their care and consideration towards our stay and comfort really made us feel welcome. This will be our number one spot to consider if we’re ever anywhere near the area. Loved every minute of it, and the homemade breakfast delivery really ended our stay on a perfect not. It was an amazing, relaxing place to stay. The views are amazing, we got to see some snow fall too, it was beautiful. April and her dad are very helpful. Her dad told us some nice stories and helped of us feel at home in the cabin. Would come again !

Our favorite place to go in New York. We love that the cabin has everything we need and is right on the lake. Our entire family enjoys this experience and look forward to coming back every year!!!

This was a quick getaway with my teenage granddaughter that started with a message prior to our arrival from Charlene warning us of a bad storm in the area. She went to the property prior to our arrival making sure we had power; this was very much appreciated! My granddaughter was excited first with the listening and then seeing the accuracy of the photos when she walked in. As mentioned in previous reviews, the cottage is near a main road which is hardly realized. The sounds of the river, birds, and peepers are the focus. From all areas of the home is the view of the river, we ate breakfast at the kitchen table watching for an eagle which finally made an appearance much to our excitement. This place is pristine with a well stocked kitchen. We did not get to use the fire pit because of weather but seems there is everything to have a fire including chairs. We truly enjoyed the peace Wilma provided! We will be back!

Second time staying in this cabin, it’s perfect to get away and spend time with family and friends.

Judy's cottage was even more than we could have hoped for. Nothing to be desired. Everything we could need with all the comforts of home. Beautiful peaceful location. Cant wait to go again! Judy truly goes above & beyond to welcome her guests. Even had some snacks & beverages upon arrival. One of the best air bnb's Ive rented!! Ten stars should be an option!

This was a relaxing, off the grid escape for us to help re-charge from our usual hectic life style. It is so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Audra was a great host! We’d love to keep this place as our best kept secret if we could😊
