Gilbertsville is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building, which has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to the historic mansion, The Majors Inn, and across from The Value Way Country Store and the studios of various craftspeople and artists. The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley. Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history. We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of cereals, muffins, breads or cakes to eat. Enjoy the glamour of this stylish, upscale restored Victorian Mansion. The Austen suite is our third private suite we have restored over the past year. This bedroom and bath are our most cozy and private in the house. Located on the back of the house, your own private oasis. This suite has a FULL size bed with private bath. This suite has been designed for one guest. However, it can accommodate two guests. There is an upcharge of $10 for a 2nd guest.

A quiet country Bed and Breakfast get-away! With 70 Acres to wander, and less than 1/4 from 1314 Acres of State Land! Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. A two bedroom suite that includes a hearty Continental Breakfast. Well mannered dogs welcome on a case by case basis, hunters are welcome! Due to the historic nature of the home and safety concerns, children under 10 years Old are not accepted as guests.
