Welcome to Sky’s Place. This little gem with its Alaskan charm is located just 20 minutes from grocery, local bars and restaurants. 60 min to Chena Hot Springs and 2 hours to Denali National Park. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or a cozy place to enjoy with friends. We are up in the hills facing north without city lights, allowing spectacular northern light viewing. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Unique hand built log cabin. My wife and I built it ourselves in 2005 for a gift store which we ran until we started having kids. Some Alaskan artwork is displayed in the cabin. We've added a bathroom, a kitchen and a covered and screened-in porch in the front. The location is great for the the Fairbanks area. We’re only able to accommodate 2 GUESTS at this cabin due to us having to haul water, the cabin’s size, and the amount and time needed for cleaning.
