Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Chemung County

Cannot say enough about this place. Very clean, cozy, plenty of room for 6 adults. Owner was very responsive. During our stay it was cold and snowy outside but nice and cozy inside. Wooded state land out back if you're feeling adventurous. Plenty of restaurants and shopping 10 minutes away.

This is exactly what we wanted. Cozy, quiet and clean. We stayed for a week, and would definitely come back.

Terry’s place was absolutely perfect! The pictures did not do it justice- it is aesthetically and adorably redone inside. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful surroundings with an incredible view. Bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows/extra blankets and luggage stands in each (nice touch!) Terry had the heat set and ready for us and even provided bottled water in the fridge. It was a perfect location for us and we look forward to staying again!

It was an excellent stay in a good location. Easy to get to grocery store, restaurant and other destinations in the area. We are staying again in July.

beautiful house! love the area. large fenced in yard. wifi :) extra chargers! very clean. quiet neighborhood. quick responses. house looks like pictures. traveled with my two small children. we were traveling home to see family in elmira, newfield and ithaca. nice 30 min country drive to all. closer to elmira. Will definitely book again.

If you are a nature-lover and like privacy, this is the place for you. We saw deer everyday and walked on trails with beautiful views. Bobbi was always available and kept us informed. We were so close to the state parks and finger lakes, as well as, places to eat. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Bobbi!

I will always seek out this cozy retreat while staying in Elmira. I could have spent a week here relaxing with a good book - and so many to choose from! Jennifer was quick to respond to any inquiries. The guest house was immaculate and everything we seek in a good rental. Why choose a chain hotel that is adequate at best when you can be in the heart of Elmira (on a very quiet street) with better ambience. This rental is close to Corning, Ithaca and Watkins Glenn areas. I cannot even begin to imagine how stunning it will be in Fall. Great find and will definitely be returning.

We were in the Ithaca/Newfield area for a wedding and did not want downtown Ithaca. This was 5 minute drive from wedding location and only 10 minutes into Ithaca. Ideal for us. It was clean, all the comnforts of home and Dan & Jackie were so responsive to any questions we had.

I highly recommend Christopher's place! It was perfect for our little getaway and was located right in the middle of everything we wanted to do or go see. The place was very clean, smelled great, cozy atmosphere and affordable!! We will definitely be staying here again in the future and will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family who visit the area!

I think this Airbnb is one of the nicest we've seen in Waverly. Glad we snagged this one. It's attached to a wellness and birthing place, but no on was there on the weekend we were there. Met one of the hosts, he was very nice and kind. We park in the back, so it's pretty private and close to the entrance. The place itself was super clean and spacious. The window a/c units were scheduled to be installed after the winter just after we got there. It got a little warm in the upstairs bedrooms during the day, but luckily, it was cool enough at night, and they brought fans to help cool it down. It had everything we needed. The perfect stay for this little town! Would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay while exploring Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake! The location was perfect—super close to all the main attractions and with easy access to highways for getting to and from home, as well as nearby towns like Corning. The space itself was cozy and just right for a couples’ getaway. It was clean, quiet, and well-stocked with essentials like toiletries, towels, and linens. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was a big plus, and the smart TVs were easy to use during our downtime. There’s also a Walmart just a few minutes away in case you need anything last minute. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again on a future visit. (My husband wants to give a special shoutout to the candy jar lol) Thank you for a great experience!!

Richard is an excellent host! Easy check-in and check-out! The location is great! A quiet gate away, but about 10 10-minute drive to Cornell and Ithaca. The place is very clean and provides a lot of supplies, food, snacks, and necessities! Very thoughtful. The communication is excellent! Very clear instructions and very responsive Very pleasant stay!

We originally booked Arnaud's because we were planning on traveling with our dogs. Last minute plan changes meant it would just be my son and I, but the dogs would have loved it here. The back gardens and space were lovely. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh eggs! And it was convenient for our baseball tournament in Cortland.

We throughly enjoyed our time at Ron’s place. It was close to downtown, Watkins Glen State Park, several wineries and breweries. It was a short drive to Taughannock Falls State Park which in my opinion is a must see. We will definitely be back.

Melissa is an absolutely amazing host! She not only provided some breakfast items, but also personally welcomed us in the evening with a warm introduction and thoughtful recommendations for local food and attractions. We truly loved her and appreciated everything she did for us. The house itself was incredibly cozy and filled with warmth—it’s clear that the owner has a deep love for life. There were beautiful flowers, charming decorations in every corner, and adorable Jellycat plushies that added a lovely touch. If our travel schedule had allowed, we would have loved to stay even longer.
