"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Brand new house in a quiet and safe area. 10 minute walk to the local village of Passage East which has beautiful views and access to Wexford via the Car Ferry. There is a beach for nice walks, a Cafe and Playground to relax, and a Chinese and local pub. 10 minute drive to Dunmore East, where there are restaurants, shops and lovely coves to swim at. 10 minute drive to Faithlegg House Hotel if you fancy a round of golf or a relaxing spa day. 15 minute drive to Waterford City.

The log burning stove in the open plan sitting room is great for those cooler evenings. There are sea views from the sitting room, but the best view is had from the terrace of the main bedroom. Downstairs has a double bedroom with wc and wet room shower, upstairs are 2 further double bedrooms and large family bathroom with walk-in power.
