The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Relax in Gite Briffaut de Bourgondië

This stable converted into a house with a walled garden used to be a stable with a dog kennel that belonged to the adjacent Chateau Briffaut. It is completely free and high overlooking hills and forests, close to the nature park "Morvan". In the house, all the old oak beams are still visible and the old details have been preserved as much as possible, but this house is full of comforts with a walled garden with palm trees and olive trees with terrace and Jacuzzi.

A little slice of heaven away from the world, where you are simply comfortable. You will find peace and quiet on the edge of the forest. You will have a loft and two bedrooms on the first floor, fully equipped, linens provided... Warning: 3 large, very nice dogs live freely on the property and are well trained. We accept pets on the condition that they are always under the supervision of their owner and do not climb on beds or armchairs.

It is in our wooded park, 2.5 hours from Paris, that we offer our country house for rent. Surrounded by nature, crossed by the GR 4 Saint Jacques de Compostela, our house will offer you a family setting, quiet to rest or work. Tennis and swimming pools (unheated), many animals are present in the park (horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens...) PLEASE NOTE from June to mid-September, bookings are by the week from Saturday to Saturday only.

A 3-minute walk from the Arroux, enjoy fishing and the many hiking trails (GR 131), you can also go mountain biking or canoeing. Discover cities like Autun, Paray-le-Monial, Beaune and the fascinating Temple of the Thousand Buddhas. Taste Burgundy wines and savor local cuisine. As a family, have fun at Parc des Combes or spend a day at Pal.

Back to Basics

House, very bright and spacious, lost in the heart of Morvan. Large openings onto the forest and the pastures of cows and horses. The comfort and setting as well as the two wood stoves make it a warm place where the desire to settle down and enjoy the present moment predominate. You can walk or bike to many hiking trails. The garden furniture will allow you to contemplate the setting around a meal with family or friends.

Refurbished 50 m2 independent accommodation including: - A kitchen (!the washing machine does not work!), a living room with sofa bed (a third person can stay on this one), a bathroom with toilet, upstairs a bedroom with two small beds, an exterior of about 150 m2 fully fenced but without a gate for the moment. - Barbecue available (If it is not under the veranda, please ask us!!)
