Victor has been the perfect host throughout the whole experience: before, during and after my stay. So helpful and discreet at the same time. I loved the personal touches of fresh fruit upon arrival, and even some fresh figs from the garden during my stay. It makes it so personal and thoughtful. The little cottage is perfect in size and equipment, and so well located, just a short stretch of the legs to the amazing beach and lake. It is unbelievably quiet at night, all you hear is the ocean - and the occasional cheeky possum on the roof, but it does not last. Wildlife abounds all around the place. I did not get in my car once in 4 days there - I had plenty of food supplies- and explored the surrounding area or just swam at the beach. It is so raw, so beautiful, so wild… the best place to disconnect from busy life, reconnect with yourself and recharge your batteries. It will stay with me for a long time 🌞

We enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway in the charming town of Braidwood. The studio accommodation was impeccably clean with abundant natural light flooding through the windows, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The location couldn't be more convenient for those wishing to explore the main street, just a short and pleasant stroll away. John and Sunita were exceptional hosts—attentive, responsive to all our questions, and generous with local recommendations. This stay is perfect for anyone looking to "switch off" from the digital world, as there's no TV but plenty of books to enjoy instead. We specifically chose this accommodation for its lack of screen-time distractions, as our main purpose was to explore Braidwood and discover other charming small towns throughout NSW. Tim and Judy, thank you so much for sharing the most beautiful house / property with us. Amberlea was everything and more. We loved feeding the chooks, hitting golf balls, making wood fired pizza, picking fresh basil and even exploring our artist sides in the artists studio! The most fantastic hosts, everything has been considered from fantastic grounds, comfortable seating areas and all the extras. Thank you for the most magical weekend, we can’t wait to return!
