Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Charleston

Nancy’s cottage was absolutely perfect! I’ve stayed at numerous Airbnbs over the years. Nancy’s cottage was by far the absolute best! It was so well stocked with every single essential that you could possibly need. I think that Nancy is missing her True calling! She should be an interior decorator! The cottage looked like something you would see in a magazine! Thank you, Nancy, for your hospitality and for having the cottage ready on such short notice. Jessica is an awesome, responsive, and helpful host for a very clean, relaxing, family-style house. It was the perfect place for my family to use as a base camp for vacationing in the area. It's very close to kayaking, and just a short drive to white water rafting, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Thanks Jessica for being such a wonderful host!

Holli provided us with a wonderful stay. From accommodating us on our preferred check in time, to dropping off games during our stay, she was an excellent host. We felt safe and comfortable in her space. This air bnb is very close to parts of New River Gorge NP, which was the reason for our stay. Great proximity to the park, would recommend this place to anyone!

This is our 2nd stay and we plan to book again next year. Kids loved the pond! Kitchen has one of everything you would need. The deck makes for relaxing mornings and evenings. Yes there is a smell of well water. But drinking water was provided. Beds were comfy and everyone slept well. Thanks for hosting us!

Colleen was such a great host and neighbor, as she lives across the driveway. She proactively messaged us with rainy day activity ideas. She gave us great suggestions on places to eat. The house has everything you could ever want. I do wish she had dressers so we could have unpacked for the six nights we were there but even with that, I still give Colleen a 10 out of 10. This was a great place to stay, the kitchen had everything you could need and Colleen’s two cats were great to say hi to every time we came and went. I highly recommend Colleen and her great home!

Troy and Hilary’s place was in an awesome location, close to great restaurants, and the National Park. We only had to drive 10 minutes or less to the majority of the attractions that interested us. They were also super helpful with ideas of restaurants and things to do and responded immediately with any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. All in all a great experience! Definitely recommend!

I traveled with my 7 month old (which is no small task!) and the unit was perfect for us. Super convenient location, check-in was quick and easy, the area was secure, and the unit was well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for a quick overnight stay in Belfry. Shawna sent clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Would be happy to stay here again next time I am in town!

This has been my favorite AirBnB stay, both in terms of the apartment itself and the surrounding area. Almost a magical location. The town is very friendly, safe, with some really good local restaurants. The scenery is also top notch. The apartment is better than the pictures. Large, super clean, very comfortable with good WiFi and a large TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. Highly recommend staying here. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

Wow! Diana's loft is THE perfect base to spend a week exploring the New River Gorge National Park. Diana and her brother Jimmy went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and welcoming. The decor was lovely. All the amenities were fantastic. And we were extremely grateful for the basket of goodies (and drinks in the fridge). We loved it all! ❤️

I work in Beckley several times a year and was burnt out on hotel life. Christine’s place was perfect for my 2 night stay. Quaint and cozy, quiet and comfortable. The bed and linens were so comfy. Good restaurants are near by, or order in..you’re literally in the downtown area. She provided coffee, tea, and fresh cold filtered water. Even provided coffee creamer! Would definitely recommend, it’s perfect for a couple or if you’re solo!

I stayed in this unit for almost 3 months. The location was quiet, despite being above businesses and I never heard any noise from below. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and relax on the balcony that has chairs and tables. There's plenty of parking out front of the building. The building is secure. The apartment is just like the pictures. It's modern and has plenty of wall plugs. It has many amenities and lots of little extras Pam has included so all you need do is bring food and enjoy your stay. And it is super clean. Hostess Pam was very friendly, proactive and quick to reply to communications. You won't be disappointed staying here.

The house was the perfect size and in a super peaceful area with a great outdoor sitting area and board games. Would love to stay here again next time

We loved this house. The Italian design is beautiful. The house was very clean and well supplied with everything you need. Even though there was no issues Rachel was very responsive to a couple of local area questions I had. Definitely will look to stay here again when we return.

We had a great time at the lodge. We got clear directions to the home. It was very rainy on arrival, so Bobbie met us near the home to guide us to the home. She walked us through the home and made a welcome tray. The lifesaver was the food for the next morning. We arrived at 7:30pm and having basic groceries in the home already was the best feeling especially when we didn’t know the town, we didn’t have to wonder to find a grocery store late at night and we could just unpack and unwind after a long day. The home was impeccable for being such a large property. We had overlooked the beds for the kids and she offered me a mattress and two air mattresses, she showed us where they were stored and she had extra linens in almost every room. We were a group of 14 from kids age 6 up to adults age 78. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed the home, the views from the back deck and seeing the animals gracing through the day. Bobbie is by far the next property manager we’ve ever met. We loved it!

This was a last minute housing request for a work trip- accommodations were perfect for our needs- a lot of people in and out, washer and dryer in unit, etc.
