Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chamusca

Very friendly host welcomes you to a cute, traditional house boasting with style. Mixing character features with modern final touches, you will enjoy a very comfortable house with all that a guest needs. It sits in a street within walking distance from the town centre with lots to see! Really pleased with my stay at Casa da Galega.

Roberto is the most wonderful host, no trouble was too much, great communicator with hidden linguistic skills...had great suggestions for the area. If you come with a dog: the local park is what you need, and of course the Tejo river! The house is tastefully decorated and was very clean.

What a peaceful and lovely place. I was greeted by the hosts upon arrival and got a tour of the property, including meeting the friendly animals. Then I got to take a fresh salad right from the garden! In the morning, there were sheep accompanying me up the driveway, and the night skies were great for stargazing. If you’re looking to get away from it all with formidable hosts, kill no further.

What a beautiful retreat! We were a party of 8- 6 adults and 2 small children and we had an amazing long weekend at the house. The house is so spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It was wonderful to be surrounded by such lovely architecture, handmade art and furniture and historical pieces in a beautiful nature getaway. The pool and tennis courts were great with the kids- enough of shallow areas where they could play without fear, and a big fenced area for kicking balls, riding bikes and having a great time. The access to the small river was lovely and cool during the hottest point in the day. We cooked great meals, and enjoyed all of the lounge spaces outside. There were beautiful stars and night and its a very quiet area- with only the neighbor's sweet dog coming to say hello every day! We all agreed that we would love to come again! Thanks Maria!

We were a large group (16) that spent a weekend at Quinta do Lagar and everything was exactly as the photos and description. The host was very kind and flexible with check in hours and even gave us some suggestions off actives and places to have meals around if needed.

A estadia no espaço do Roberto foi fantástica, a casa é super cómoda, muito moderna e com excelentes acabamentos. Super bem equipada, com tudo o que é necessário para umas férias bem passadas! Quanto ao Roberto, nunca tive um anfitrião tão preocupado em ajudar nas pequenas coisas que um casal com um filho pequeno têm :) Recomendamos muito, a casa é fantástica, o espaço exterior igualmente e podem contar com um anfitrião super simpático e acessível, sempre pronto a ajudar!

The surroundings are beautiful. Our trip was short, but wish we had more time to explore. We were accommodated last minute, off-season and asked for breakfast for four. The breakfast was great and very generous. Appreciative of the pace and the host.

Good WiFi speed (for you remote workers out there), huge place, had all the amenities and even coffee pods and shampoo, located inside an apartment complex within a shopping mall so there’s quick access to groceries and food. Car rental place right next door is best deal in leiria

Uma casa excelente, num sítio ermo mas cheio de encantos! Uma ribeira perto de casa onde os cães se podem molhar, uma barragem na herdade, pão maravilhoso, pessoas prestáveis e simpáticas que facilitaram tudo…. Um sítio a voltar!! Viajamos com dois cães de grande porte que foram aceites sem vacilar, fomos mimados e passamos uns dias memoráveis. Sobre a casa… linda! Rústica, bem enquadrada, confortável, limpa, bem equipada. Uma verdadeira pérola a descobrir. Obrigada Patricia e restantes colegas…. Bem hajam!

Appartement très bien situé. C'est l'immeuble noir juste après le rond-point. Grand appartement bien agencé avec un ascenseur ultra rapide. Parking au pied de l'immeuble. Eunice nous a bien accueillis. Une bonne adresse !

La casa de Filipa nos pareció muy acogedora, tiene una buhardilla super bonita y una terraza espectacular con unas vistas impresionantes, es muy luminosa y por las mañanas y las noches resfresca bastante, la zona tiene un clima muy bueno. El residencial es super tranquilo y tiene piscina,ademas a 10 minutos hay una playa fluvial con todo tipo de servicios, un bar, wc, kayak y una piscina en el río!!! Uno de los dias fuimos de excursion al convento do cristo de Tomar, una visita que merece mucho la pena, en definitiva, unas vacaciones fantásticas.

El apartamento es funcional y súper cerca del santuario de la Virgen de Fátima sin duda regresaría. María Helena muy atenta

Die Wohnung (ein Gästehaus) liegt auf dem wunderschönen Anwesen von Sofias Mutter. Es ist etwas ausserhalb von Tomar und ehrlicherweise sehr auf dem Land. Aber mit navi ist es gut zu finden. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön, mit vielen Obstbäumen. Checkin war sehr einfach, weil uns Manuela (Sofias Mutter) herumgeführt hat. Sie selbst wohnt gegenüber. Die Wohnung selbst ist grosszügig geschnitten und hat unten zwei Betten mit Duschbad und oben ein Doppelbett mit Duschbad. Die Wohnung ist gut klimatisiert, hätte aber auch Klimaanlagen. Es ist sehr ruhig. Die Betten waren wirklich prima und ein Highlight - sie waren mit Abstand die besten unserer bisherigen Portugal-Aufenthalte. Es gibt eine kleine Küche, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben, eine Dolce Gusto Maschine und im Haupthaus Billard und ein Lesezimmer. Die Kinder haben sich auch sehr über den Pool gefreut. Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente fantástica! A casa estava super limpa e impecavelmente arrumada, o que nos fez sentir confortáveis desde o primeiro momento. As áreas interiores são amplas, muito bem preparadas e extremamente cómodas, ideais tanto para descansar como para conviver. O check-in foi simples e rápido, o que facilitou muito a nossa chegada. Já o espaço exterior superou todas as expectativas: o jardim e a piscina apanham sol o dia todo, criando um ambiente perfeito para relaxar. A zona de churrasco é grande, muito prática e bem equipada – ideal para refeições em grupo. A localização da habitação é outro ponto alto: completamente isolada no meio da natureza, oferece uma tranquilidade rara, longe do barulho e da confusão. A piscina é grande, está em ótimas condições e foi, sem dúvida, um dos destaques da estadia. Importa ainda destacar a simpatia e disponibilidade do Phill, o proprietário, que esteve sempre acessível e pronto a ajudar sempre que necessário.

We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

Adorámos os dias que passámos na casa Regina. A casa é ainda mais bonita do que nas fotografias, a limpeza estava impecável, a casa é bem espaçosa, arejada, e tem absolutamente tudo aquilo de que possamos precisar. A Erica é muito disponível, responde sempre imediatamente a qualquer solicitação. O jacuzzi, claro, é a cereja no topo do bolo, bem como o terraço, onde podemos ver o sol a pôr-se e fazer as nossas refeições. Recomendamos totalmente esta experiência, a todos os que queiram passar uns dias tranquilos no campo.

Amazing place to stay with incredible views. Served as an excellent stay to relax and recharge on our road trip around Portugal. The pool was great for our kids during some hot days. Perfect place to disconnect from it all and appreciate the views. The added massage option was great for the adults. The sauna was pristine and clean. Need to find something similar back home in the US.
