Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chamusca

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Carlos was very friendly and the house was clean and had everything we needed. And only a short walk to restaurants.

Roberto is the most wonderful host, no trouble was too much, great communicator with hidden linguistic skills...had great suggestions for the area. If you come with a dog: the local park is what you need, and of course the Tejo river! The house is tastefully decorated and was very clean.

Nice house, comfortable and very well equipped. It has a beautiful, spacious garden with a pool that was enough for us. This is a circular pool approximately 120cm deep. The porch with the bbq is wonderful. We spent much of our stay there taking advantage of no pesky insects like mosquitoes or wasps. There is the option to feed Kalifa which is the horse that is in the adjacent enclosure. We loved it. It's very quiet and very docile. The location of the house is in a very quiet village. Access is totally independent and the car can be stored. The garden and pool are both totally private. The location is excellent for visiting very interesting places such as Tomar, with the impressive Convent of Christ, the beautiful village of Obidos or the monastery of Batalha. Within a radius of just over an hour are places like Lisbon, Coimbra, Nazaré. Henri has been an accessible and very friendly host.

The most delightful AirBnb stay I've ever had! If you're looking for a quiet retreat in the beautiful Portuguese countryside, this is it. We felt at home immediately thanks to our hosts' hospitality and generosity, and loved getting to know Serafin, the African donkey and Nougat, the sweet dog.

We were a large group (16) that spent a weekend at Quinta do Lagar and everything was exactly as the photos and description. The host was very kind and flexible with check in hours and even gave us some suggestions off actives and places to have meals around if needed.

Great location! Easy walking to the main district, shops, castle, and river pathways. The apartment is very good sized. The kitchen is well appointed including coffee pods, dishwasher, detergent, and washer detergent. There is no dryer for the washer, however, our clothes easily dried using the clothes hanger and draping clothes on chairs. The best way to find the apartment is to locate the Padaria O Gordo business. Go into the glass doors to the right of the business. Once inside, go immediately across the hallway to the door where you need to put in the code that the owner will give you. You will then have access to the elevator. Parking is free in front of the building, however it will be very difficult during the week if you arrive before 5:00pm because all city workers park there. We paid for parking just up the street, until a spot opened up. After 6:00 p.m. there are quite a few spots available.

Apartment in a very good location. This is the black building just past the roundabout. Large, well appointed apartment with a super fast elevator. Parking at the foot of the building. Eunice welcomed us. Good location!

Amazing host and a very clean place!

Filipa's house seemed very cozy to us, it has a super nice attic and a spectacular terrace with stunning views, it is very bright and in the mornings and the evenings cold enough, the area has a very good weather. The residential is super quiet and has a pool,in addition to 10 minutes there is a river beach with all kinds of services, a bar, wc, kayak and a pool on the river!!! One of the days we went hiking to the convent do cristo de Tomar, a visit that is definitely worth a fantastic vacation.

A wonderful place to reset the bustling life of everyday life! An extremely clean and beautiful house with everything we need at our disposal. Highlight the wonderful garden and the swimming pool. Finally, we commend Sara's friendliness and her availability! We already look forward to having a reunion in this amazing home! 😊

Quiet, spacious and pleasant space, the Jacuzzi in winter is an added value

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

Better than what we thought! Is a great place to have a relaxing weekend.

I went to meet my brother and his family to spend Christmas together , Maria Helena was vey flexible and friendly, explained that party wasn’t aloud as described but a family meeting would be welcome because Christmas is a special occasion, we had a wonderful family dinner, place is absolutely stunning, Maria Helena and her husband are very friendly and Helpful. Maria Helena showed around and explained how to use the facilities. The house is big and beautiful, kitchen has everything we need , weather was cold because the winter but the place has heating and 2 wood fire and enough wood to burn inside and outside if need . Stunning mountains view. I recommend anyone who goes hire a car to explore around . The Nazaré beach is stunning ( famous for the highest waves in the world) . Villages around ate beautiful snd clean , it stands out for the oranges , small trees with oranges everywhere, locals also put bags of oranges around in fences for free , we enjoyed oranges from her garden .

We had a fantastic time and everything was pretty perfect. Paolo was very accommodating super responsive and everything was as expected. The views from the house are beautiful. We were only there for a couple of days, but you would probably want a bit longer to really explore everything in the area. Highly recommended.

We went with a family of 9 people, we loved it, the outdoor space is great for children. The house has everything you need for a stay. Very calm and very pleasant area. We want to go back! Carlos was always available to help if necessary.
