“Stylish and secluded, Famtin is a beautifully designed space in a stunning setting. When we weren’t exploring the wineries just a short drive away, we made the most of all this memorable property has to offer - swimming from our own private jetty, enjoying a braii in the lovely outdoor space, watching the sunset, marvelling at the spectacular moonrise, then getting up early to watch the sunrise, ready to do it all again! Candice, while not based at the property, was a lovely, responsive host, who helped make our stay the total joy it was.”

“We had an amazing weekend getaway in the Garden Cottage! The cottage was private, cozy and just lovely! It was a rainy cold weekend that we spent cooking, sipping wine in front of the fireplace, playing cards and sleeping in! The amenities definitely exceeded my expectations for a farm getaway. The cottage is equipped with wifi, dstv, and all the cooking utilities needed! Would definitely visit again!”

“Jaw-dropping views. Truly amazing to feel on top of the world and happily remote during the current world pandemic crisis! We’d have stayed longer had the country not gone into lock down. This is the place to get away from it all. I loved that it was rustic yet fully functional - hot water shower, gas plates to cook, enough electricity to get you through etc. This is a place for those who don’t mind the odd spider on the wall, a troop of wild baboons meandering past, curious little birds arriving on the terrace to check you out and the wind threatening to carry you away at night as it whistles and grumbles around the cabin. We loved every minute. Please read the info sent to you in advance of your trip and you’ll be just fine!”
