The property was outstanding. The views were incredible. There was lots to keep entertained with. The linens were very clean and beds were comfortable. Would recommend to a family or group of friends.

Best place I’ve stayed in so far Hands down. The views are amazing, no neighbors in sight. The sounds of the coqui at night are like music to your ears. Easy drive to the house no crazy mountain drive. The house is beautiful, always feeling nice and cool. And we got to enjoy some fresh mangos off the tree. I would definitely rent again this Place is beautiful 🫶🏻

This was our very first time venturing out of the city and driving through the countryside and mountains of Puerto Rico… BEAUTIFUL !! EL PRETEXTO is a beautiful and wonderful place to disconnect and explore farmland & nature if that is what you’re looking for ! The property is absolutely Beautiful, Crystal’s hospitality is on another level her Breakfasts and Dinners are SPECTACULAR and best of all I felt like I was with family!! Since we booked sort of last minute we were lucky enough to get whatever was available which was VILLA 1 wooden house ground floor 1bedroom apartment-studio-ish super cute rustic surrounded by lush tropical greenery everywhere . The weather is very different in the countryside center of the island, it was very Very Cool especially in the nights , zero need for air conditioning. We also decided to get massages with Eva whom was incredible and lovely !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EL PRETEXTO and can not wait to go back again ! Thank You - Thank You Crystal …

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this property and the host. From the beginning the host was very informative on directions, with pictures and clear instructions. The road to the house is curvy and up the mountain, but the roads were freshly paved and extra wide. Google maps took us right to the driveway. The host suggested we stop in town before heading up to get some basics for our stay, so we could enjoy it and not be worried about the 15 minute drive back to the store. Of every place in the world I have stayed, this is by far my favorite. It is an open air villa, with amazing views and extremely peaceful. The birds in the day were relaxing and sleeping to the nature sounds at night made for an amazing nights sleep. I felt so refreshed after a 2 night stay, but I literally could have moved in and never left. The host had great recommendations. One place we found in addition that I would highly recommend would be Ainad's Coffee shop for brunch and coffee.

Both the BNB and host were incredible! We had a mixup with rental cars our first day arriving and Janice helped us tremendously! All throughout the stay she was responsive and reliable while still giving us privacy. The spot was peaceful and remote with the beautiful sounds of coqui singing us to sleep. The most romantic getaway, me and my husband will be seeking to rebook this bnb any time we come back to PR

This place exceeded my expectations—super clean, beautiful, and exactly like the pictures. It’s incredibly peaceful, a place you truly don’t want to miss! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would give it a 10. Adriel is professional, responds quickly, and ensures everything runs smoothly. Josue's home was just the perfect place for my family and I, especially traveling for the death of my wife's grandmother, very quiet, peaceful, and most of all the neighbors are very friendly. Another thing I would like to mention is that Josue is 110% responsive every time I called or write, within minutes either by phone or message he was always there and what a wonderful view especially at night, thank you again Josue for your wonderful hospitality and your amazing story you shared with us GBY ALWAYS!!!
