Holiday rentals with a kayak in Centre County

Loved the location right by the creek. Swimming pool looked great, unfortunately it rained our entire stay. It was nice to be able to go back and unwind after events at Penn State University and Bald Eagle State Park. Close enough to both.

We had an amazing weekend! Perfect place to relax and enjoy the family between our weekend wedding festivities!

Our family had another wonderful stay at Kelly’s place! We reached out to book early to ensure we had a place to stay for Penn State graduation and Kelly was super receptive and helpful! We were glad to be back after staying here a few years ago. Kelly’s home is the perfect retreat for our family, and is very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the backyard fire pit at night, and the front porch for morning coffee/tea. The beds are comfortable and Kelly provides ample blankets/pillows should you need more. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking necessities. There’s also a bar/restaurant only three minutes drive away if you’re looking to eat out. We highly recommend Kelly’s home to anyone!

We chose James’ home for the location and we were not disappointed. The Creekhouse is perfectly situated on a beautiful piece of property within walking distance of Penns Creek on Elk Creek. Communication with James and Rebecca was excellent. They responded quickly when we had questions or issues. This is an older home that has a few quirks…an interesting bathroom set up and no ventilation for cooking. Nothing about the quirks interfered with our stay because the description of the home was accurate so we knew what to expect. I would choose to stay here again and would recommend it to those that like character, charm and a beautiful setting.

From the moment I booked Patricia’s place it was amazing. She was great at communicating, flexible with us checking in early, and made us feel very welcomed. The pictures of her place don’t give you the feeling of spending time here, it’s a magical place. Quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Torbert village is the best location on pine creek, and her house location is arguably the best located house in the village. I highly recommend her place to anyone. Planning to stay her next summer. Thank you so much Patricia, your house is a gem.

Heather’s home in Bellefonte was the perfect choice for a weekend getaway! Her exceptional hosting skills truly stood out, from preparing a delicious breakfast for my family to ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I couldn’t recommend a better host or a more welcoming place to stay!

The house itself is charming and unique, with updated amenities that provide modern comfort without losing its character. The backyard is spacious and perfect for entertaining or relaxing with guests. You won’t be disappointed!

Christina was a great host. Home was spacious loved the layout of home 3rd floor 2 bedrooms 4 bedrooms and full bath on 2nd floor master bedroom with king on 1st floor.

Norman’s cottage was very peaceful. Would absolutely book again. Caught my first small mouth bass in the river. Besides the golfers coming through (across the river is a golf course), there were few and far between issues with noises.

Perfect stay! The cabin had everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend stay. Interior was nicely decorated, so clean and fresh. Enjoyed the view of the river, saw several deer and an elk. Firepit was in a great location with good view of the river, very peaceful and relaxing. Have no complaints. Loved our stay and will be back. Was the perfect cabin for our getaway!

Loved our stay! Highlights included the boats available and giant float to play on the river, awesome Bluetooth speaker for music, and the view from the hammock! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor table and fire pit. Place was very clean and organized with lots of towels and cleaning supplies. Can I book again now for next summer?

This place was amazing. It was beyond our expectations for a river house. The house is spacious, well-appointed and pleasurable even when it rains. The wide deck with a view of the river and hillside was relaxing all day, but especially with a cup of coffee in the morning. The hostess was very responsive and accommodating. With a family group this will be a first choice to rent. It was pure relaxation for three days. Thank you Kate.

Zachary’s place was the perfect place for our weekend trip! The cabin was very clean. You could hear water running through a stream from the porches, which was super relaxing! The location was perfect for our planned activities! I would recommend this cabin!

We had a great stay with eight people for Bucknell graduation weekend. The house was big and had a great fire pit and game room. The grounds were very pretty. We were a bit surprised to find that four of the bedrooms had no windows (not legal in New York), and no dishwasher. I would also recommend bringing your own wine glasses since there were only two small glasses there. But overall a good stay.

The West Bank Lodge was the ideal place to enjoy the beauty that Pine Creek has to offer -- wow, what a spot! The home ideally accommodated our one couple and three single adults, all cyclists who took in the beautiful fall colors and magnificent views along the Pine Creek Rail Trail. Kate and Craig were ideal hosts with easy instructions, spotless accommodations, and many extra touches. We'll be back!
