Cabin holiday rentals in Central Louisiana

Great place to stay very private. Not suitable for cars low to the ground the driveway is not car friendly.

The cabin seemed to be pretty new and was extremely nice. It was in a pretty remote area, which I liked. I’ve been to Toledo Bend many times over my life, and this was the nicest cabin I’ve stayed in.

Really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area. We’re very thankful we were able to spend time in the cabin.

We were a group of college girls staying for the weekend. The outside area was everything we could have asked for and more! The house had everything we needed as well. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive, even late at night when we had a situation occur. They made our safety and comfort their priority. The neighbors were also very kind and helpful. We enjoyed everything about our stay here!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The 2nd night there a huge storm hit and we lost electricity. Within an hour they had the generator up and running for us! I just hope every Airbnb I ever stay in has such wonderful hosts! The house fit our huge family perfectly. They even had toys for the infant grandbabies so we didn’t have to pack as much. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked for a great vacay. And T he views were AMAZING!!!

This is a nice place and is was in a perfect location for my bass tournament.

What a great place to stay! The house is just as described. The beds were comfortable, loved sitting on the porch and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower!! Patti was extremely kind and very helpful. We would definitely stay here agin when we come back to this area.

Mrs. Ruby was very attentive and nice. The cottage was well kept and very comfortable. We enjoyed the lake view and my little girls enjoyed the fishing dock.

I don’t often leave a review, or want to necessarily go back to a specific Airbnb. But I would absolutely stay again sometime. All ages had a good time. The kayaks were fun. We fished, grilled, played darts and such. It did rain pretty hard for part of our stay but we hung out under the covered areas until it passed over. It was very relaxing out there. Plenty of places to sleep. Lots of nice little details. If you are looking for a river camp experience look no farther. This is the spot.

We rented both cabins, the house, and the fifth wheel rv for a nearby family get together. All of the properties were in wonderful condition and the host was one of the best we’ve ever had on the platform. Thank you to the property owner and host.

The most pleasant stay I've had on my journey across the country. I loved relaxing on the front porch in the rocking chair, listening to the rain. Very peaceful!

We enjoyedddd this place so much! Everything was as explained and when we needed anything they were quick to help! Very friendly! This place is beautiful and peaceful! Will definitely be making another trip soon! Slept all 7 of us comfortably and loved how much it felt like home with everything you needed being provided!

Nancy & Shawn have created a wonderful get back to nature experience! From the area,cabin,little touches of homemade soap & tinctures to the lovable loo & outdoor shower which we took midnight showers in…to the peacefulness, it’s a match made in heaven all put together with love by those 2. (We brought our rescue cat & she loved it as well!!). We came as strangers & left as friends. We will definitely return!! Thanks for the hospitality and sharing y’all lil’ piece of paradise with us! The Victorian Cottage was all we expected it to be. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe. Really enjoyed the honeybun cake too!

What a beautiful, tranquil place - a sanctuary as the name says! Our kids (9 and 3) loved walking and playing in the creek. We loved the screen porch and had all our meals and lounging time there. Panoramic beautiful scenery from the living room, the screened porch, and upstairs. Cabin was cozy and clean. Beds and furniture were very comfy. They also had some toys and a fun puzzle for the kids. Also have to note the great book selection - for the kiddos in the loft upstairs, and for nature loving adults on the shelves downstairs. We got a little mixed up finding the place at first (google maps address was off), but still were able to find it easily once going down the road based on the mailbox #s. We had a lovely spring weekend here, and look forward to returning!

The cabin was perfect for my fiance’s birthday! It was just the right size for the two of us and was spooky clean. We had an amazing time staying there. Victoria was such a wonderful host, she even surprised us with a birthday cake which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. She also set up the projector for us while we were out, so when we came back, everything was ready to go. The whole cabin had such a cozy, homely vibe. My fiance and I absolutely loved it and would definitely come back again!

Nice, quiet and peaceful setting. The cabins are very nice and clean. We have stayed at 2 of the cabins and will definitely be back!

The property was exactly as described. It was very private, clean, spacious and on a really nice piece of property. It was peaceful yet not too far off the beaten path. Gus was a great online host whose communication was clear, prompt and spot on. The value of the fees and charges were in line with expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. We would definitely recommend this property to others and it deserves a 5/5 star rating.
