Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Central California

I booked Edward's listing for a client of mine. Edward was a wonderful host to work with throughout the whole process. He was very responsive and patient with all the needs I had for my client. My client also provided a review: Great location, clean and quiet. Had everything I needed including an on-site workout room! Great communication from my host, Edward. Definitely recommend! We were heading up north for our son's/ brother's wedding and really needed a 2 bedroom/2 bath place for us so my wife and daughter could each have their space to get ready. Riley's place provided that and more. Everything was very nice and homey, it helped us to just relax. Riley had a lot of little additions also that were perfect, hairdryer, ironing board with iron, etc, plus the kitchen had all the neccessary items to make ourselves at home instead of always eating out. The linen closet was well stocked with extra towels and bedding. It was very clean and well taken care of. Riley's communication was both proactive in getting us all the needed info before having to ask for anything upon arrival and also, once there, a quick response to any questions. As a family, we enjoyed the stay very much and would without hesitation book this place again should we be back in the area. Thanks for helping us relax during a hectic family week.

Beautiful place. It was like staying at a high end hotel with extremely prestige facilities. The gym was first class and the pool AMAZING. Greatly enjoyed going to the gym and swimming in the pool every day. It was like having a private pool as NOBODY uses it. I would definitely stay in this place again.

Our stay at 1716 Lofts (hosted by Advanstay) was terrific, and it solved a particular need of ours (an interim stay between homes) very well. The location rocks: You can easily walk to Melo’s, CorePower Yoga, 5 Tacos & Beers, Barnes & Noble – all the downtown Walnut Creek highlights, and without having to find parking, which can be tricky. Speaking of parking, the property’s assigned garage space was secure and convenient. The TV and sofa-sectional viewing area were well-thought-out and comfortable. The appliances were of higher quality than you usually find in short-term rentals – excellent dishwasher, fridge, and microwave, as well as a generously sized washer and dryer. The walk-in shower stood out in the bathroom – you don’t often find that in short-term rentals, either. All in all, we give this property very high marks!

Our stay was perfect for our need - attendance at a two day conference. The apt was spotless and comfortable. Only a mildly noisy - probably students - neighbor next door but sound diminished immediately when I knocked on bedroom wall :-) at 11pm.

Very clean and open inside. This place is right in a calm community and also walkable to restaurants and shopping stores. It has great views of mountains from the two balconies. Host is super responsive and accommodating. Kitchen also had all basic spices, pans & pots. Highly recommended. Thanks for hosting us.

Stayed here a few times and always seek out this host. The space is conveniently located to the mall and public transportation. The Airbnb is perfect size for a solo traveler or couple and has a very comfortable bed. The private patio is great for coffee in the mornings too. Highly recommend this place. the host also check-in to ensure your stay is wonderful. Will be back again!

This space is exactly as pictured and very clean. There’s a great office space in the unit so if you’re in town on business that’s very beneficial. It’s in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants and businesses nearby. I’ve stayed in the area multiple times for business and this was by far the nicest spot I’ve stayed. Highly recommended.

Nice 2 bedroom located very near my work site inside gated community so it felt safe.

I can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to Eagle Lodge, which made getting on and off the mountain super easy. No need to deal with parking or shuttles, just grab your gear and go! The place itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and the fireplace made for the perfect après-ski vibe. The host provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out a breeze. After long days on the slopes, it was awesome to come back, relax, and enjoy the fireplace. It really made the trip extra special. If you’re looking for the perfect Mammoth getaway, this is the spot if you don’t mind paying a little on the higher end. Will definitely be coming back! Hoping the booking price doesn’t increase too much!

Second time staying at Natalie’s condo. Loved our stay. Lots of new upgrades. Can’t beat the location to Eagle lodge!

Excellent stay at David’s. The place was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Plenty of towels and loved that there was a Jacuzzi to use in the complex. Checking in was seamless and host was quick to respond. Will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!

Communication with Shelby was fast, clear and easy. Condo was ideally located a s was literally 2 minutes from eagle lift. We loved our stay - thanks Shelby.

Robyn’s place was perfect for our visit to Golden 1 to watch the Kings play. It was easy access to the arena, safe, clean, and quiet. Would stay there again!

Convenient location for weekend skiing at Bear Valley. The electric heaters kept the rooms warm and cozy even when the outside temperature was below freezing point. The kitchen has everything we need for a simple dinner. There are also some books and games for our kid to enjoy. The host was very responsive on a minor plumbing issue in the kitchen. He arrived within a short notice and fixed the problem momentarily.

Anthony's place was just as described and perfect for our large group in town for a wedding.

We had wonderful stay at this location. the house was spacious and good parking space. Just be cautious to not drop anything on the floor as we noticed group of ants at some places.

My partner & I spent a night here last minute for a concert & this place was definitely lovely . Location was also 10 mins away from the golden center arena ! Which was very convenient for us. The place was very clean & comfy as well. Recommend. :)

I am so thankful and blessed to have found an air bnb in Taft. My sister and the rest of the family were just down the street. We came out for a wedding and needed a private relaxing retreat for our family after long days of visiting. This place was perfect!! Wendy was so kind and responded quickly to all of my questions. I can't say enough nice things about this house and Mark. The house was in a very convenient location, literally a few minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. Check-in was super easy, and the house looks just like the pictures. Everything was very clean. I've stayed in several AirBNB properties over the years, and Mark was by far the best at communication. He was very easy to get ahold of and always let us know pertinent information like when the pool people were coming. I would absolutely stay again if I'm ever back in Cali!

Richards place was wonderful! It is by far one of the best kid and animal friendly places we have stayed at in Sacramento. Everything was exactly as described! The kids room had toys and books as well as blackout curtains. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook at home. There was even local coffee beans and complimentary wine! The front yard is private and gated so we could let the kids and dog out while watching from inside. I can't emphasize enough how much we liked this place. We will absolutely be staying here the next time we come to Sacramento!
