Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Central California

This was our second visit to Lee Ann’s home. This time we were able to appreciate the lush summer vineyards, afternoon breezes, and even picked a few apricots. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views and the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The bnb looked just like the photos, beautiful views all around. The host was very responsive and checked in throughout the stay to make sure everything was going well. My group had a great time!

Adrienne and Jonathan were very responsive. The house, the pool and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Adrienne and Jonathan for hosting us.

Nestled in a beautiful corner of Clear Lake, Samadhi’s Birdhouse is an incredible sanctuary with a view of Mt. Konocti. The house is decorated so cute and stocked with everything you need. The sound of the water and the wind rocked us to sleep and there was an amazing view to wake up to. We would love to stay here again if we come back to town!

This was the best experience at an Airbnb in our 10+ years of travel in the US and abroad. Amazing, peaceful, quiet, impeccably clean, easy to access, bedding was amazing, amenities incredible….and even better than the pictures! Loved the outdoor amenities and the host was so kind and inviting. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to CA.

Tim and Jennifer’s place was lovely and I enjoyed my stay there. Everything was as described The fenced in yard was great for my golden retriever and the area is quite peaceful. There is a bit of road noise but I didn’t find it too disturbing at night when trying to sleep, however it may bother people that are sensitive to noise. Tim and Jennifer were great hosts and provided clear instructions. They also baked vanilla scones for us, which was a really sweet and kind gesture. I would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future!

Absolutely fabulous GEM! Mike and Diana clearly love this place and take care of it as their home. All the rooms and bathrooms are sweetly designed and perfectly appointed for guests' comfort and enjoyment. The clean and modern kitchen has everything I needed for cooking and baking. Cleaning supplies are well stocked and all the other consumables for the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms are generously supplied. The property is expansive, quiet, and private. If you like, it's easy to leave the fence line and wander the BLM land. And if you don't want to wander far, it's easy to find your own quiet retreat spot right on the property. Treasure this place! It’s hard to put into words just how incredible this place is, I could write paragraphs. We use vacation rental homes a lot and this by far surpasses them all. So nice not to have to buy tp, paper towels, gbg bags, laundry & dishwasher det. and more but it’s all supplied. Beds are super comfortable, high-quality sheets and towels, and plenty of them, lots of extra blankets. Box fan in every closet, sound machine by every bed. So, so, so many extra touches beyond what I mentioned that go above and beyond. The place inside and out is both beautiful and serene. Could have happily spent a month. Only one small country store in the little town nearby so if you plan to do cooking and stay an extended time, definitely hit up a Walmart or a large grocery store before you arrive. Especially if you’re looking to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing retreat, this is the perfect place whether you’re one couple, a family, or a group of friends. Owner should teach a class.

This was the second time my family and I stayed here. We love the pool, the spacious patio, and secluded location. We had a little issue but Nikki and the property manager Karen did everything in their power to resolve and fix things and they did. Karen was very responsive and helpful. Always a great place to stay.

Home was lovely, it had an awesome backyard for our little one. We would def stay here again

Amazing retreat in the Redwoods - the property is quiet, has beautiful views of the redwoods with both outdoor sun and shade spots, and has a cool interior. Pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. I would stay again! We stayed in May, and while the yard was mowed, it had a type of grass that was very prickly so not barefoot or dog friendly - so we weren’t fully able to enjoy the expansive yard space.

Beautiful home well maintained, you can tell they love it and want others to enjoy it as well. Anastasia and her husband were both available if needed and took care of any small items that came up immediately. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again if planning another trip out that way ♥️

Emilio’s place is exactly as pictured!! Super clean and very welcoming, one that I would love to come back to. Emilio was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any of our concerns. Beautiful home and plenty of space for our family of 10!

One of the cleanest airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at! There are also so many fun things for kids to do, from an outdoor basketball court, huge pool, yard for ball games, an indoor basketball arcade game and a fun game room basement. The one thing is that when we were taking a walk outside on the road in front, five minute walk away on the other side of the train tracks there are very dangerous dogs that came running at us and encircled us barking and very aggressive. Just a warning to people about taking a walk outside, especially if you have kids, keep the fence closed!

We enjoyed our stay at Christina’s lovely home! The view from the back deck is amazing. The home was well equipped. Very peaceful! We had a maintenance issue, but Christina was quick to respond and fix it, even on a holiday. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The Casita in the Trees was the perfect getaway and Melodie and family were amazing hosts. The space has a very nice layout, the kitchen and other rooms are lovely with charming ambiance and thoughtfully stocked, you have everything you need and more. The soft morning birdsong was so pretty amongst the oak trees, the view is spectacular, and Melodie was such a thoughtful and kind host. I would absolutely recommend!

Velouria is a lovely and tranquil place to stay in the Guerneville area nestled amongst the beautiful redwoods. Everything was exactly as described and had all we needed for our three night stay. I do recommend grabbing some firewood at one of the local wood spots (descriptions provided in the check in/rental information) or Safeway just a short drive into town - Even though it was mid June and warm during the day, having a fire at night was a great way to keep the residence toasty and cozy as it can cool down at night quite a bit! The hot tub was also a wonderful addition, clean and spacious and as others have sed, nearly floating amongst the trees on the lowest deck. Shane was our main contact during the stay and communication was friendly, clear, and super chill! Thank you so much!

We were looking for a special place for our 40th wedding anniversary and this cottage far exceeded our expectations! it was simply beautiful! and our hosts were incredibly helpful. we hope to return again

The accommodation where I could stay while being around alpacas was such a happy and joyful place for me. The room was small, but it was perfectly fine for two people. Adjusting the hot water in the shower was a bit tricky. This place is located on a surprisingly beautiful hill, which made the experience even more special. As someone who loves animals, I had such a wonderful time, and I would love to come back again for another healing stay. I hope the alpacas, horses, camels, and llamas are all doing well. Thank you so much!

What a great cottage! When they say it is a high tide cottage, that means when the high tide comes, the ocean is completely underneath of you. It was exhilarating! It reminded me of owning a boat and hearing that soothing sound of the waves while I’m trying to sleep. Totally relaxing. It is a bright and cheery cottage with lots of light coming in from the windows. There is a small hot tub outside on the deck where you can sit and listen to the waves at night as well. I heard back from the host every time I texted and they were very helpful. The place was clean and has an enclosed deck that wraps around the house. There are sunset views, and you can poke at the tide pools on the beach right in front of the house at low tide. I would love to return to this place.

A charming stay under a redwood tree nestled in a garden oasis, with beautiful patio, comfy bed, and an outdoor kitchen & bath that was heaven on earth. A truly unique experience to bathe under the stars and enjoy morning coffee by the fire pit. A wonderful redwood trail not far from the property (Grove of Old Trees) was a perfect compliment to our stay at The Perch!

We loved our stay! This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. The location is great--you can hear and see the river from the deck. It is so peaceful and relaxing to sit out there and have a meal or enjoy your coffee in the morning. It's also about a 10 minute walk to the Sugarpine trail which goes right along the river and is a great trail for kids. It's also about a 5 minute drive from Pinecrest lake. The cabin is super comfortable and cozy with lots of games to play and movies to watch. It's a favorite place for us to stay and we will definitely be back again.

The black barn was a great place to stay! My girlfriend and I loved staying here for our 5th year anniversary weekend. We would most definitely stay here again when we come back to Paso Robles again, which we will! Soo many places to drink wine and eat great food, and we barely spent any time downtown. 10/10 highly recommend!

Worth every penny!! My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and quiet. The jacuzzi with a view was really the highlight of it all. The place wasn’t hard to find just make sure you follow the instructions and directions provided by the host. It was a 100/10 experience! We will definitely book it again for a quick getaway!
