Holiday rentals with lake access in Celerina/Schlarigna

Innocenta and Fabio’s sparkling, spacious apartment was the perfect base for a wonderful stay in Varenna on Lake Como. The apartment itself is beautiful with everything we needed - a great bathroom, abundance of towels, shampoo etc and a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and the attention to detail was amazing. Innocenta and Fabio provided a lot of food and snacks and a delicious apperitivo and nibbles to welcome us. The apartment has a garden for the use of guests with lovely outdoor furniture and a panoramic view of Lake Como. To make this place even more wonderful, Innocenta and Fabio made such an effort to help and advise us - their friendly hospitality added so much value to our experience. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so memorable.

My siblings and I, + our significant others, traveled to Italy for the first time together for our cousins wedding in Florence. We decided to find a place to relax after the busy wedding festivities and always wanted to visit Lake Como. When I saw this listing I knew it would be the perfect place for us. Oh, how right I was!!! Villa Nella could not have been a more perfect stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking (even from the bathrooms)! We truly felt so at peace and so comfortable in this home. It is so conveniently located to everything, and we had the best time exploring the town of Varenna and all of the beauty it has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors on the front balcony and the side yard! The weather for us was PERFECT. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious. They also had a packet of all of their recommendations for dining out, shopping, sightseeing, etc. that was very helpful. We can’t wait to come back again soon! ❤️

We had a wonderful time in Gera Lario! Gabriele was a wonderful host and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The house was stunning, especially with the balcony overlooking the lake. We felt very welcomed.

Great apartment above Menaggio. The view from the terrace of Lake Como and the mountains is fantastic. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped and is located in a very quiet environment. The centre of Menaggio is within walking distance, and there are good hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Georgia Louise responded immediately to queries and was very helpful. This place is highly recommended!

Perfect location for getting the ferry boats. Close to the train station. Restaurants next door for convenience. Beautiful walking path along the lake to other restaurants and shops.

It's a very peaceful place with a nice terrace and a lot of plants. The road is quite audible from the bedroom and the curtain is very thin, so good to bring earplugs and an eye mask. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, I would recommend it.

Apartment is absolutely fantastic … beautiful with everything you need . The bed is comfy , every amenity you need in the kitchen and the bathroom is very clean with great shower . Mario is a fantastic host … very friendly and gives great recommendations for local restaurants and trips around the area . The best thing about this Accomodation is the location … amazing , no more than 5 minutes walk to anything ❤️ Thank you Mario for an amazing stay .

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

What a wonderful apartment. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake, its close proximity to the town centre, Stefeno as a host made this one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays! Stefeno met us at the dock when we arrived and even met us for coffee when we left. Truely a Super Host

Moreno warmly welcomed us and directly explained everything in the apartment and gave us tips for the area. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Between the apartment and the lake runs the "main street" which is a bit noisy, but you quickly get used to it. Supermarkets can be reached in 10 minutes by car, as well as small towns with beach promenades. You are very dependent on the car, but that did not necessarily bother us. Unfortunately, the WiFi is unreliable, it often fails, but that didn't necessarily bother us. The view is beautiful and we enjoyed our time in Moreno's apartment.

Small house with stunning lake views! The outdoor space is a big plus especially for the kids (our two year old daughter loved the slide). We didn't really enjoy the private beach (because too busy visiting the area) but we loved taking the secret passage. So we'll have to come back in the summer to enjoy more;) We were lucky enough to meet Salvatore who is very responsive and welcoming. The cottage is very well placed to discover the Lake and we even took nice walks on site. An address that we'll keep precious.

We stayed at the cottage for 8 nights, mid end of August, and had a wonderful time. The contact with Marina, Antje and Andrea was extremely friendly, straightforward and helpful. Antje and Andrea speak German, which was very helpful. The place is very newly decorated and we loved the style. It is simple but stylishly designed. What you need is there and unnecessary things have been dispensed with. The hammer is the short path to a beautiful little beach, which is exclusively shared with the neighbors. Unlike the public beaches, you can also find shade there and can easily spend several hours reading and swimming. The small garden at the cottage offers a lot of peace and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our time. It seems that they are only there so you don't feel completely in paradise yet. Thank you very much for the wonderful time to you, Marina and team. We loved this little spot. It's near a campsite and you are right on the lake and have direct assess to the water. This little cottage in front of a lakeside path and you can walk to many excellent restaurants, as well as two grocery stores. You're on the lake, not on the street, so it was very quite. We were there at the end of September, so the weather was still nice, but most the tourists were gone. Rita was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. We needed two twin beds, and that's what they had. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it has its own pool which we didn't use, but would have loved too. We can't wait to go back!

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

The accommodation is impeccable, very clean and over-equipped. It is off the beaten track and quiet, in a privileged setting on the lake (small private beach and beautiful hiking trails starting from the house). 10 minutes' drive to the center and the port, very good restaurants nearby (less than 5 minutes' drive) The host Marina is the best, adorable and very helpful. The + of +: VERY DOGFRIENDLY they are accepted everywhere, all the time. Everything was perfect ;-)

The accommodation is sufficiently large with a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen and bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) the accommodation was clean and the kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!
