The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Would absolutely stay again. Communication was second to none. Thank you, thank you!

Cemal was an excellent host. Responsive and took the time out of his day to give you walkthrough of his place. Truly felt like a super host. Extremely friendly. The apartment is centrally located in Beyoğlu minutes away from public transportation.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

It was a real pleasure to stay at your place during our visit to Istanbul. The place is very nice and very clean, and there’s all we needed during our stay. Very close to everything shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions just 5min walk to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia mosque. The place has two floors and makes it like two apartments in one and this was great for us, we stayed in one floor with the kids and gave the second floor to my mom and my niece who came with us. The host was very professional, polite and very helpful. He provided a great service he organised the taxi for us from and to the airport and even walked us through the nearby area and showed us the better shops and restaurants and the different shortcuts to get to centre. Thanks a million for everything and we really appreciate!!

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation with amazing views and all the creature comforts. An excellent base for exploring Istanbul by ferry or bus, with nice cafes nearby. Can recommend using a delivery service (we used Getir) to get groceries in.

My stay with parents in this apartment was amazing and peaceful! Location is very good No issues with the transport And I would like to say thank you to Nihal , she is very nice and mindful , responding immediately. Definitely will stay next time !

Perfect Stay in Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. The host provided clear and accurate directions beforehand, making it easy to find the place. Check-in was seamless—staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were in our room within minutes. The house is located on a charming street that’s easy to access, even with luggage. Sidewalks are smooth, and the area felt safe at all times. In fact, locals in the neighborhood were helpful and kind to our family. Pros: The apartment was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and surprisingly quiet for central Istanbul. We loved waking up to the distant sound of the morning call to prayer—it added to the authentic experience. The beds were comfortable with fresh, high-quality linens. The water pressure was great, and both hot and cold water were available without any issues. All lights and appliances worked perfectly, and the heater in the bathroom was especially appreciated after a day of exploring the city.

Just book this apartment! I had such a lovely stay here. It was even bigger than I imagined and I love how serene it was. Since you’re in the only apartment on that floor, you have a ton of privacy and quiet. All the little design touches were fantastic too. I stayed for a month and I was sad to leave. Can was also a very responsive, helpful, and friendly host which made the stay even more meaningful. Enjoy your time there like I did!

The pictures don’t do it justice. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing. And the location was very nice and convenient. I personally didn’t mind the traffic noises at night so just be aware of that, overall, I had an amazing time here

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

Ugur was a great host! He helped as from.the begining to the end, even when.we had an issue he imediatly fixed it. The view of the sea is a.great thing to have and the apartament has everything it needed. Last but not least it is perfectly situated to visit Fatih and other spots as well.
