We have a Ranch with a walkout basement. It's like an apartment within a home. The Donut Suite is the entire downstairs of our home. There is only 1 stair from where you park to the entrance of the suite.

Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The stay includes 2 parking spaces, there is also a parking ramp 1 block way for additional cars. I live in the house, so please be considerate with the festivities.

I stayed in the cozy room, which is the smallest of the three available spaces. Even so, it was perfect. I had my own TV, fan, and mini fridge. The shared bathroom was rarely shared as there's a half bath near the other upstairs space, and I assume the basement space has its own full bath. Sheryl and Gordon are great, and the house is in a beautiful neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here.

Home exceeded our expectations and highly recommend. We were in town for an event on campus so it was a very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed being able to go for a walk at the nearby park trails and relaxing in the private back yard. We enjoyed the use of the BBQ gas grill for making our dinner. House was immaculate and well stocked. Very helpful to have the supplies available to do laundry. Would stay again if ever in town.

The space was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and just as described—with a private living area, bedroom, and bathroom. Caroline was incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming. We also appreciated having access to the washing machine. Check-in was easy, and the parking was also easy to find thanks to her precise instructions. Everything was well explained, so we had no trouble at all. Caroline was also very flexible and graciously accommodated our request to extend the stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would stay again!
